Nadia Aboulhosn is a Lebanese-American fashion blogger, model and designer from Orlando, Florida. She is best known for designing clothing lines for boohoo.com, Addition Elle, and Lord & Taylor. Aboulhosn has been featured in Vogue Italia, Complex Magazine, Refinery29, Seventeen Magazine, Teen Vogue, American Apparel, and BuzzFeed.
In 2016 Aboulhosn shot for the cover of Women’s Running Magazine’s April issue. Her message encourages hard-work and diversity, as well as reinventing the standards of the fashion industry. In January, she did an interview with PAPER Magazine explaining how she is the model bridging the gap between straight and plus size.

You have become an inspiration for millions of women and young girls all around the world since you started your blog in 2010. You are also best known for designing clothing lines for boohoo.com, Addition Elle, and Lord & Taylor. Walk us through your spectacular journey and tell us how it all began?
Ms. Nadia Aboulhosn:
There are many things that got me to where I am today but I think the turning points were when I modeled for Seventeen Magazines and American Apparel. From there I moved to NY and spent a lot of time focusing on building my brand, blogging constantly, and pitching myself to brands that made sense for me.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Introduce us to a day in your life.
Ms. Nadia Aboulhosn:
I usually wake up, clean the house for the first 30 minutes. Then I try to do a quick workout, eat breakfast. Then I’m on to doing emails with a combination of editing images. I give myself an hour during the day just to brainstorm ideas for future collection pieces. Three or four days out of the week I’m at my manufacturer in downtown LA. I’m usually all over the place. Each day is different.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine to stay fit and healthy?
Ms. Nadia Aboulhosn:
I do at least 30 minutes of cardio a day. The beginning of this year I decided to leave the gym and get a bicycle, trampoline, and basketball hoop. I wanted to start being active but making it fun at the same time and be outside while doing it.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Tell us your Top 5 Favorite Healthy Foods or Recipes.
Ms. Nadia Aboulhosn:
Top five would have to be sweet potato burger. It’s basically a slice of sweet potato instead of the bun. Zucchini lasagna, grilled chicken breasts with brussel sprouts, cauliflower tater tots, and probably gluten free cookies just because I want something sweet often.

You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your haircare and skincare routine.
Ms. Nadia Aboulhosn:
Thank you! For my hair I use Aveda shampoo and conditioner. For my skin I use Proactive Green Tea Moisturizer as a base coat and then Neutrogena SPF 30 sunscreen on my cheek bones, eyes, and forehead. Every other day I use clarisonic to exfoliate my face and neck. To wash my face I use Aveeno skin brightening daily scrub. At night I put on Vitamin C sleeping mask from Peter Thomas Roth.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
In the present day scenario, with the rise of social media, how do you think has social media impacted an everyday woman, bringing in multi-fold opportunities to them? Also, what according to you is the one worst thing about it?
Ms. Nadia Aboulhosn:
I think social media is a great way to network and get yourself seen and heard. Especially if you’re a model or artist in some form. The internet and social media reach people and demographics that we wouldn’t necessarily be able to really access without it.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
What would be your favorite tips for a person starting a new fashion blog?
Ms. Nadia Aboulhosn:
Be authentic. People can usually tell when it’s real and not. Focus on yourself and don’t worry about what other people are doing. You’re in your own lane.

Tell us your Top 5 Fashion Secrets to look gorgeous and glamorous?
Ms. Nadia Aboulhosn:
Drink as much water as you can. I usually do lemon water every morning. Treat yourself every now and then with face masks, etc. Get active, working out always make me have more energy and healthier looking skin. Get time alone. I make sure I have alone time for myself where I can just sit there and not think and do breathing exercises to sort of center myself.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You have modeled for many top magazines and brands like Vogue Italia, Complex Magazine, Refinery29, Seventeen Magazine, Teen Vogue, American Apparel, and BuzzFeed. What is your motivation and inspiration behind being body confident?
Ms. Nadia Aboulhosn:
I don’t really think I have a motivation. I was always pretty confident in myself because I never really focused on others and their opinions about me physically. I think I care more about my character than physical feature.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
The fashion industry has had an incredible breakthrough, getting over the norm of stereotype shapes and sizes, but it still has a long way to go. What according to you are the 3 lessons that it still needs to learn?
Ms. Nadia Aboulhosn:
More fashionable clothing options that range in a wide range of sizes. Featuring more women and men of different ethnicities and sizes in main stream media, TV Shows, Movies, etc.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
With a massive following of over 508K followers on your Instagram account @nadiaaboulhosn, you’re a social media sensation and an internet leading star. How does it feel that you are able to inspire the healthy lifestyle of so many individuals?
Ms. Nadia Aboulhosn:
It’s incredibly humbling to be able to touch so many people’s lives. I’m really grateful to be able to be doing what I love and helping people feel like the best versions of themselves along the way.
