Monika Radulovic is Miss Universe Australia 2015 and an exceptionally talented Model. She is in conversation with Namita Nayyar, President – Women Fitness.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You were born in Bosnia and Herzegovina. When you were four years old, your family migrated to Australia. Since then you have won many pageants like Miss Tourism International 2012 (1st Runner-up) and Miss Universe Australia 2014 (3rd Runner-up). You were crowned Miss Universe Australia 2015 which propelled your professional career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of fashion and modeling. Tell us something about this fairy tale journey?
Ms. Monika Radulovic: If you told me while I was in high school that one day I would be working as a full time model, let alone be Miss Universe Australia, I wouldn’t have believed you in a million years! I went to university straight after school and graduated with an honours degree in Psychology; I always assumed my career would simply entail being a psychologist. However, I decided to take a year off after uni to pursue modelling, and the rest is history. I’m so grateful to have been blessed with these incredible opportunities!
Ms. Namita Nayyar: What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?
Ms. Monika Radulovic: I’m a big fan of pilates and resistance training like TRX and I love training at my local studio; Ultimate Pilates in Rosebery. I also train 3 or 4 times a week doing EMS training at BodyTech studio in Brighton Le Sands. It’s an amazing way of working out using an EMS machine that sends electrical impulses that constrict your muscles while working out. It’s absolutely incredible; a 20 minute session using this machine does for the body what hours in gym can achieve! BodyTech has really helped to tone and shape my body; I’m addicted!
