Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Nutrition is an integral part of looking good both on & off screen. What diet do you follow to stay healthy and physically fit? Share with our viewers your 3 favourite foods?
Ms. Rhian Sugden:
Nutrition is my down fall. Crisps are my weakness. I don’t think it is sustainable for me to cut out snacks and treats. I wouldn’t stop myself from having what I want, I just try and have it in moderation. If I feel the urge to have something unhealthy, I will just make up for it the day after by eating healthy.
My three favourite healthy snacks are…
Avocado sprinkled with salt and black pepper
Banana and peanut butter bagel
Small portion of 85% dark chocolate – ok not so healthy but it certainly takes away any cravings for more sweet things.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
With a massive following of over 266K followers on your Instagram account @rhiansuggers you’re a social media sensation and an internet leading star. How does it feel to be a role model & an inspiration in influencing a healthy lifestyle of so many individuals?
Ms. Rhian Sugden:
I wouldn’t class myself as a role model but influencing a healthy lifestyle or being somebody’s ‘body goal’ is always very flattering. Since I hit 30 I have noticed my body change more and more and it is very hard to keep in shape and keep everything where you want it to be. So it is very rewarding to see that people can appreciate the work that has been put in.
Social media puts a lot of pressure on women these days, keeping it real is the way forward. I am more than happy to post pics of me with a little pot belly after a heavy weekend. I think it is refreshing for people to show un airbrushed/retouched images – they aren’t real life and aren’t something that should be aspired too.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Being a well-established model, what would be your tips for an aspiring model who wishes to join the entertainment industry?
Ms. Rhian Sugden:
Sadly, the industry has changed a hell of a lot since I started. I have watched the glamour industry demise over the years so I wouldn’t advise anyone aspiring to be a page 3 girl to push for that dream. It is all getting banned. The lads mags have shut down and political correctness has gone wild. It’s a shame really. However, for aspiring models I would say go out and follow your dream. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it. You have nothing to loose. Don’t let people’s negative comments get you down. You are only as beautiful as you believe.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
