Marisa Papen is a Belgian model and naturist, known for posing nude in unconventional locations. Papen was born in Limburg. After high school, she studied marketing. In 2015 she started working as a model and was photographed for Playboy in Germany (2017), Mexico (2019, with Ana Dias) and Portugal (2016). In 2016 she published a calendar in which she addressed the problem of plastic in the ocean. Papen’s goal is to desexualize the body.
A daredevil Playboy model whose stunts have caused outrage around the world has plunged to new depths – to swim with man-eating sharks. Marisa Papen dived naked off the coast of holiday island Hawaii to get up close and very personal with the terrifying marine predators. Papen believes she hoped to challenge taboos by making people rethink their ideas about nudity and sharks.
Marisa has an eternal love for life. Her ferocious spirit is willing to put both body and mind at risk to speak up for those without a voice, animals and humans alike.
In 2020 Marisa founded her own nonprofit called Earth Family (www.earthfamily.io). Earth Family generates in-house art and activism projects. They use art as a bridge to communicate unity, to open minds, to naturalize human skin and to cultivate a deep relationship with Earth.
Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar catches up with elusive Marisa Papen, a Belgian Playboy Model and Naturist here she talks about her fitness routine, her diet, her beauty secrets and her responsibility to protect this planet.
Namita Nayyar:
You were born in Limburg. After high school, you studied marketing. In 2015 you started working as a model. In 2016 you published a calendar in which you addressed the problem of plastic in the ocean. Then you were featured in Playboy Portugal (2016), in Germany (2017) and Mexico (2019). This propelled your modeling career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of fashion and glamour modeling. Tell us something about this fairy tale journey?
Marisa Papen:
2019 was also the year that I was on the cover of Playboy US. It all just happened very naturally. I believe in the law of attraction a lot, even though I never tried chasing anything, I might have manifested some of these endeavors, unconsciously :).
I’m definitely very grateful for the direction my path of life has taken me and continues to take me. I could share so many stories but I think I might keep those for a book one day, or I’ll just keep them to myself forever :).
