Mariia Arsentieva: Ukrainian Supermodel, Influencer and Winner of Miss Europe-Asia Beauty Pageant Talks about her Fitness routine and Beauty Secrets

Mariia Arsentieva is a beautiful and young famous Supermodel and Social Media Influencer who was born in Ukraine. She is successful Instagram star with 683k followers. She has been the finalist at the Miss Continental Europe 2018 pageant. Mariia Arsentieva has collaborated with multiple reputed and renowned brands. In June 2021, she won the Miss Europe-Asia contest that was held in Paris.

Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar catches up with Mariia Arsentieva to talk about her fitness routine, diet, journey, and more.

Namita Nayyar:

You were born in Ukraine. Tell us about your early education and professional training if any. You later started working as a professional model and took a part in different fashion shows and fashion photo shoots. This propelled your modeling career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of fashion and glamour modeling. Tell us more about your journey of hard work, tenacity, and endurance?

Mariia Arsentieva

Hello, yes I was born and raised in Ukraine in the city of Kyiv. I have been an active child since childhood and sport was my favorite subject in school, I had the best grades and results. I tried different things when I was small such as karate, aikido, dancing and even gymnastics, where they were even ready to take me to professional sports, although I came to them when I was twelve years old, and it’s too late for gymnastics. I have a higher pedagogical education and an incomplete second higher education in the direction of “English philology”.

I did not plan to go into the modeling business, as I was very passionate about sports, but I wanted to please my mother, she is a model in the past, so I went to a modeling school. I started with Shows and a photo session in Ukraine and almost immediately they found a contract for me in Turkey.

It was a new experience where I met girls who have been doing this for many years, and I realized that the work of a model requires a lot of self-control of perseverance, endurance and self-confidence, and watching other girls on my next trips, I began to analyze and understand what is needed to be successful. Of course, there were many unsuccessful castings after which you feel “unsuitable” for fashion standards, but I did not give up, continued to work on myself and that’s where I am now. So I think my efforts were not in vain.

Namita Nayyar:

You were the finalist at the beauty pageant Miss Continental Europe 2018. Elaborate more about this amazing and inspiring journey of competing for this prestigious title?

Mariia Arsentieva

It was the first beauty contest in my life and I will remember it forever. My friend invited me to participate in it. There are a lot of beautiful girls in Ukraine, but I decided to take a chance. At that time, I was working on my self-esteem, and I decided either I would lose and work more on myself, or I would win or take some place and this would be a plus for me. When I realized that I would represent Ukraine, there was no limit to happiness, I began active training, followed my diet and controlled nutrition.

It was a difficult but very interesting way to the final of the competition! 🙂 But now this is not my only title. In June 2021, the Miss Europe-Asia contest was held in Paris, where I took first place, and now again I confirmed to myself that all the work was done for good reason!

Namita Nayyar:

You are a world-leading media personality, supermodel, influencer, and brand ambassador. How do you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?

Mariia Arsentieva

Here I will answer briefly, I have always loved activity. it all fell on me not in one day, I have been working towards this for many years, therefore, gradually adding new areas of activity and cooperation’s, now I am following everything in an organized manner.

Namita Nayyar:

What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?

Mariia Arsentieva

Like many young girls in my training, I emphasize the butt and abs with additional weight and combine them with workouts aimed at the whole body.

My favorite exercises:
DUMBBELL SPLIT-SQUAT, Glute Bridge, different bar options.

Do you take a special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?

I tried many different diets with different amounts of calories

, and I came to the conclusion that you need to listen to yourself. I stick to a healthy diet with a lot of vegetables, fruits and cereals because I love it, but if I want to eat pizza with friends or a piece of cake for my birthday, I will not refuse.

Namita Nayyar:

You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your hair care and skincare routine.

Mariia Arsentieva

Thanks! To be honest, I don’t have a cosmetologist; I think that proper care can replace it, if we are not talking about some specific skin features. Twice a year I drink a course of vitamins for hair and skin, I choose my shampoo very carefully, as many of them simply dry my hair. Once a week hair masks. For the skin, I use a day and night cream, every two weeks I cleanse the skin with a light peel.

Namita Nayyar:

You go to different countries for your professional career. For a model adjusting to new countries with their own cultures, it must be difficult, and then adjusting to a modeling career in the new foreign land, what advice can you give to fellow models in a similar situation?

Mariia Arsentieva

Yes, adapting to a new place can be very difficult, it’s true. But I can’t say that this was a great difficulty for me, it was even more interesting for me to immerse myself and understand how people live in other countries, so I didn’t treat with condemnation, but with the understanding that each culture is different, and I was looking for what I like and didn’t concentrate on complexities. For example, Italians can set an appointment and come later. Since they are characterized by regularity in their actions, they are in no hurry, while the Germans, on the contrary, value clarity, thoughtfulness and punctuality.

You have today’s enviable Instagram following of 650K and how these professional achievements have acted as a motivator to further your professional career as a supermodel and also as a catalyst to achieve spectacular heights in modeling?

Mariia Arsentieva

My subscribers are the best thing that happened to me, they motivate me and support me and I love everyone madly. In the modern world, modeling agencies often look at Instagram because through it you can see a personality and who a person is, so this serves as a plus in my professional career. Thanks to Instagram and my followers, I got contracts with some brands that I still work with, so, as I said, it’s the best thing that has happened to me.

Namita Nayyar:

Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding fashion model girls, who all are your fans and shall like to know from you for their climb to the ladder of success in the field of modeling?

Mariia Arsentieva

Your body belongs to you, your mind belongs to you and your emotions also belong to you. Always stay true to yourself, and if you feel not comfortable doing something then don’t do it.

Namita Nayyar:

Modeling involves doing bold photo shoots. How are you so confident and giving advice to your compatriots?

Mariia Arsentieva

This confidence did not come immediately, I had complexes about my own for a long time, and photo shoots in bikini were more difficult for me than in wide clothes, but then I accepted myself and my body, I began to look differently at myself and others, without comparing because we are all unique.

How do you train your abs? One secret to your toned body.

Mariia Arsentieva

As with everything, regularity is needed, 10 minutes of abs at the end of each workout, regardless of which muscle group I focus on.

I like: bananas, nuts, berries, brie cheese, and potatoes.
