Louise Cliffe is an international model, actress and singer. Louise’s unique and striking looks naturally ensured that a successful modeling career would find her. Louise has traveled all over the world appearing on the catwalk, in commercial advertising campaigns and in high fashion showcases in London, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Berlin, Dubai and Miami. From naturally sexy and super-feminine to edgy and androgynous, Louise is dynamic and versatile.
Louise Cliffe is an exceptionally talented international model, actress and singer. She is in conversation with Namita Nayyar, President Women Fitness.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You started modelling at a young age. Your winning of “Miss Manchester 2006” took start your career in modelling. This propelled your modelling career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of fashion and glamour modeling and also had meteoric rise as an actress.Tell us something about this fairy tale journey?
Ms. Louise Cliffe: Well before I got into modelling, I wanted to go in the army, yes the army. When I tell people this they look at me in amazement. As a young girl I was very sporty and took part in many sports, even venturing to Holland to play netball for my school. If you ever wanted to find me, you would see me on a field somewhere playing football with my brother and his friends. Modelling was an accident all down to my sister Michelle. One night whilst watching coronation street, she said, Louise let me take some pictures of you, I said, are you being serous, I don’t know how to pose and so on, the rest is history.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You move from UK to United States and Europe for your professional career. For a model adjusting to new countries with their own cultures it must be difficult and then to adjust with modeling career in the new foreign land, what advice you can give to fellow models in a similar situation?
Ms. Louise Cliffe: At first I used to get really scared travelling on my own, I used to always be on the phone to my mum, I still do now haha! I would just say keep your wits about you and if you are a professional model with a legit agency it’s most likely the places you go are safe and fully legitimate. Adjusting to any place or culture takes time, but eventually you get used to it and it becomes second nature.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You are world leading media personality, model, actress, singer and a brand ambassador. How you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
Ms. Louise Cliffe: I manage my life well. I have a great manager Nick that always keeps me up to date with my diary and reminding me of things that need to be done. I’m very easy going and laid back, I don’t like to stress to much, I think this helps me cope with my work well.

Ms. Louise Cliffe: I’ve always been sporty, whenever playing any kind of sport in school I was always put with the boys because the girls weren’t strong enough, fast enough or tough enough. Hurdling was one of many sports I did, I would say I was an all rounder, but hurdles was my specialty.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?
Ms. Louise Cliffe: I like to walk a lot. I do lots of castings around London so waking is something I do regularly, plus I like to look at buildings and beautiful scenery, London has so many of these. I’m a real geek at heart.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Ms. Louise Cliffe: Food is my life. I love to cook and eat. I like to have a balanced diet. I eat good food and have treats. I don’t believe in diets. I’ve been brought up on meat and veg, I think this is the way to eat and I’ve continued it into my adult life.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have glowing porcelain skin and gorgeous hair. Do you take some kind of skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hair to make them look so stunning?
Ms. Louise Cliffe: I don’t really do any skin treatments if I’m honest. I just thank my mum and dad

Ms. Namita Nayyar: Elaborate on your experience of studying at Manchester School of Acting and later working as a nuclear scientist in the disaster movie ‘Annihilation Earth’?
Ms. Louise Cliffe: My time at the Manchester school of acting was a great experience. I was taught never to over act, the owner of the school Mark Hudson used to say, this is the Manchester school of non acting. Debbi my teacher who is now in Coronation Street was very helpful and told me I had a gift and should always just be myself. I like comedy, I like being silly and having fun, I like those acting roles, but I would mind being a Bond girl! Annihilation earth was amazing, best time of my life. I learnt so much from that movie. It was my first role and I was very nervous as I was working along some big names. I actually got shot during one of the scenes, it was quite scary but tells a good story now, especially when I have kids.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding fashion model girls, who all are your fans and shall like to know from you for their climb to the ladder of success in the field of modeling?

Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have done bold photo shoots with Maxim, Bizarre, Front, Loaded, FHM, OK!, Stuff, The Magazine, Zoo, Nuts, Ice and Switched On.. How you are so body confident and advice to your compatriots?
Ms. Louise Cliffe: I’m 2 people. I’m Lou in the day and Louise on shoots. I’m a very reserved person in real life but when the camera is on I become someone else. Modelling is very hard, it’s not that easy like people think. You learn as they years go by. You learn how your body looks best, the way your face looks.
