Ms. Namita Nayyar: You are considered the “Queen of the Red Carpet” presenting for ITV at the Movies. Tell us about your experience of working on the show, which has been a catalyst in achieving success in your career? Also, tell us about the shooting and behind the scenes fun that you’ve had?
Ms. Lizzie Cundy: ITV at the Movies was fabulous as I’m a huge movie fan and I was able to attend every blockbuster premiere and visit exotic locations to interview the stars of the movies from George Clooney to Tom Cruise!! It really was a dream job. Probably one of the most memorable experiences was being flown to Santa Monica first class to interview Julie Andrews who realized she knew my mother!! We all went out to eat that night in LA and had the best time. This show was fabulous as we had a great team and the stars trusted us and became our friends ..we had a blast !
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You are world leading media personality, television presenter, radio presenter, showbiz, fashion & beauty advisor, columnist and model. How you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
Ms. Lizzie Cundy: I’m interested in everything.. Even politics !! .. I always put my heart and soul into everything I do. I love being live on TV and that’s why I adore doing my radio show as you never know what’s going to happen. I love the excitement and it makes you think on your feet! I always do my homework on anyone I have to interview but I’m naturally interested in people and what makes them tick. When interviewing I know I need to get something quite juicy from whoever I’m interviewing so I have my own technique. I ask the killer question but with a velvet glove!! Of course I’m interested in beauty as I started off as a model and have known from a very young age to try and look your best and I love the world of beauty.. it’s essential to always be red carpet ready!!
Ms. Namita Nayyar: What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine?
Ms. Lizzie Cundy: I need to go to the gym more than ever!! As we get older you notice changes but I’m lucky as I’ve always tried to keep fit and not let myself go. I try to do at least half an hour /40 minutes each morning, light weights, sit ups and squats.. I always go first thing in the morning and this definitely gives me energy for my busy day ahead!
