Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Ms. Liz McCarthy: In general I try to avoid processed foods as much as possible. Out of fight camp I’m a little more relaxed about what I’ll eat, but in fight camp I’ll start cutting out certain foods, and just stick to a base diet of healthy protein/carbs/fats.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding mixed martial artist girls who all are your fans, they shall like to know from you, what they should do for their climb to ladder of success in field of women mixed martial art and other style of professional fighting?
Ms. Liz McCarthy:
Don’t let anyone tell you that you shouldn’t train or compete because as a girl you’re too pretty or it’s just not right. Fighting isn’t for everyone, but neither is soccer or basketball or swimming. If it’s something you enjoy, then do it, and aim to be respected as a skilled athlete.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
On July 28, 2012 in Kansas City, Kansas, United States you defeated Jessica Phillipus by doctor stoppage in the event Invicta FC 2: Baszler vs. McMann. Tell us about your endeavour of winning this fight of yours?
Ms. Liz McCarthy:
This was my first professional fight, and my first fight for Invicta FC. I was really focused and trained more than I did for any of my amateur fights. I was excited for the opportunity more than anything, and wanted to make the most of it. Overall it was a great experience, the staff at Invicta took great care of all of the fighters.
