Tell us about your journey from being 300 lbs in weight to losing 200 lbs. How you overcome morbid obesity, and your literal total-body surgery. For you, it was a complete physical and mental makeover. Elaborate.
Lily Aspen:
It wasn’t an easy journey, as all life-changing events. I tried different diets, to maintain the weight. Bariatric surgery doesn’t guarantee you weight loss if you don’t maintain it and that’s when your mind comes to the stage. I worked a lot with a psychologist and continue to do so. I do yoga and hiking and of course my portions now are very small. It’s been 6 years after my bariatric surgery and I’m grateful I’m still able to keep my weight in a healthy range.

Five foods you love and five you keep to a minimum.
