Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Give us Your Top 5 Hair and Skincare Tips for adverse conditions.
Ms. Léa Brassy:
For cosmetics, as simple and non-processed as possible is my go-to.
- Cocoa butter on my skin when it needs to be hydrated. I have not found more efficient hydration in adverse conditions.
- I only use Alep soap or a very basic soap if I don’t have.
- Daily facial hydration with virgin oil or vegetable butter before bed, I hardly put anything during the day.
- Virgin coconut oil in mask for my hair every week or so.
- Organic sun cream (Laboratoires de Biarritz or Avasol) every time I am exposed to the sun.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Who has been your greatest influence and motivator in your success in this field?
Ms. Léa Brassy:
Independent women in general have always been a precious inspiration to me.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Introduce us to your inspiring short film ‘Being There’. Also, tell us about your experience shooting it.
Ms. Léa Brassy:
Being There is my first experience directing a film. I wanted to picture surf adventure in a different way, with more female sensitivity, and focused on the experience rather than the achievement. I also wanted to highlight a love relationship that uses their passion as a way to get stronger together rather than a topic for distortion. We had fun shooting, as we knew we wanted this to be documented, it was motivating.
