Namita Nayyar:
You started your professional career as a model in 2011. You’re acting and modeling career started by appearing as a dancer in the popular song Subha Hone Na De
from the romantic Indian comedy Desi Boyz, starring Akshay Kumar and John Abraham. This propelled your modeling and acting career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of fashion & glamour modeling and also as an actress. Tell us something about this fairy tale journey?
Larissa Bonesi:
I started my career in 2007 and I came to India on 2011. When I first came to India, I never thought I would end up in a movie industry, I was always looking for big assignments in the modeling industry. But when I got my first movie script I fell in love with the process of bringing to life someone else on cameras. It was never easy for me, I have been thru a lot in my life, up and downs, with more NO than YES.
But that never made me stop. I believe we all have a purpose in life, and I am here to give mine. I never back down, I never told myself I am not capable, I guess It looks a fairy tale journey but I am just a women today that have never given up on her dreams or goals.
I am very thankful for every opportunity that I got in my life, and I am always grateful for every single person I meet, I have learned a lot, and for me to be standing where I am today it’s a blessing. my family support is everything to me, I still have a long journey to go and to achieve everything I seek for. So for now, I would say I am right where I am supposed to be.
Namita Nayyar:
You moved from Brazil to India, China, Argentina, Thailand, and a few other countries for your professional career. For a model and actress adjusting to new countries with their own cultures, it must be difficult and then to adjust with modeling and acting career in the new foreign land, what advice you can give to fellow models in a similar situation?
Larissa Bonesi:
I have been all over Asia and South America and Europe for my modeling assignments. I must say it was never easy, because I left home I was only 13 years old back then, and I had to learn and adapt to different culture, language, costumes and of course self-living, doing everything by myself. I feel everyone has a different experience in every industry, you never know who will do so well or who will end up quitting. I say, you must have a very strong and determinate mind, set your goals and work hard.
Nothing will ever come easy. Fall in love with you work, have passion for what you do, the answer NO we all have, but we gotta try hard, work more than hours, be fully committed to what you actually want to become. Family is your base, your main strength, you gotta believe in yourself even when no one else does, you gotta set your goals every day and go for it. What is tomorrow? we will never know, but if you do your best every day, and keep working hard towards your goals, you can be sure your success will come in the right time.
Namita Nayyar:
You are a world-leading media personality, model, actress, and brand ambassador. How do you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
Larissa Bonesi:
It’s quite hectic sometimes; we have to use whatever time we have to work on everything, we gotta be always ready for new work, meetings, meeting calls, travels, events. It’s hectic but I enjoy, it’s my life, it’s my passion, I do with love. Nothing to complain!
Namita Nayyar:
What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?
Larissa Bonesi:
I do workout at gym with my trainer Rajiv Singh, he has been very motivational for me. Whenever I have a free day he always questions me if I rather am home or at the gym working towards the fitness I wanna have. That is quite intense, I love working out and making myself busy even when I have off days. Working out for me it’s a therapy. Makes me happy! I do cardio, weight training, cycling and dance.
