Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Do you take some kind of skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hair to make them look so stunning?
Ms. Jessie Sulidis: I work in the beauty industry where your face is your calling card. I have always taken great care of my skin and hair. A good cleanser and moisturizer, drinking plenty of water and a healthy diet is the key to great skin. I like to use a gentle azulene cleanser with a nourishing moisturizer and a collagen serum twice a day (once before makeup application and once before bed).
I use a glycolic exfoliator a couple times a week and switch up my organic shampoo and conditioners every 6 months. Putting a drop of moisturizer or BB cream in to your foundation also creates a healthy glow. My biggest secret is Organic Virgin Coconut Oil. I put a spoon full in my water every day and also use it on my face as a night cream. It’s one of those super foods. It keeps your skin hydrated, fights bacteria, unclogs pores, boosts metabolism, fights virus’ and fungus. You can’t go wrong. Just make sure it’s Virgin and Organic.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You are a talented makeup artist. tell us how after a hard day work, what kind of makeup a mature women should apply to look graceful at an evening party?
Ms. Jessie Sulidis: To spice up your daytime makeup for an evening party I suggest using a moisture spray to start to add hydration back to your face. After a long day your skin can look dry and dehydrated from environment factors etc. Adding the moisture spray before you reapply some foundation makes it look fresh and keeps it from looking cakey. Add a bit of foundation (liquid) to refresh your complexion with a tad more blush and an illuminator to awaken the face. (Illuminator/High Lighter should be applied on top of your cheek bones) Adding a thin liner, another layer of mascara and a bold lip (matte red) is the perfect look that you can achieve in less than 10 minutes for an evening out!
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Tell us about your experience of working as a special guest on show “The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All” ?
Ms. Jessie Sulidis: I had an amazing 2 years working with The Bachelor franchise. I appeared on Jake (the pilot)’s season of The Bachelor, and then appeared on Ali’s season of The Bachelorette, and again on Bachelor Pad. It was nerve racking appearing on The Men Tell All as I was there to expose one of the contestant’s secret about having a girlfriend back home. The best memories I have were making friends with the other contestants which I carried over into my personal life. We would all get together a few times a year and meet in Vegas or Chicago to have reunion parties. The one thing I don’t miss is the lack of sleep and 24 hour cameras’ capturing you in your lowest moments while sleep deprived.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Elaborate about your endeavor of working as a freelance reporter for organization USA Today (covering UFC, MMA) ?
Ms. Jessie Sulidis: I loved working as a freelance reporter as it put me in so many different fields. One week I would be covering the Green Carpet at the IFFA Awards covering Bollywood Royalty to the next week covering the Red Carpet at TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) and the next week I would be interviewing Dana White for USA Today. I had the privilege of meeting and interviewing A list celebrities like George Clooney, Penelope Cruz, Brad Pitt, Channing Tatum etc. It’s challenging and exciting jumping in and learning new worlds.
I loved working for Verizon as well covering the IndyCar series as open wheel racing is one of my favourite sports. I got to travel across the USA, Mexico, Canada and Australia working as media for the racing series.
