Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar did a candid interview with Jesse Golden leading model and a Holistic Health Practitioner where she talks about her workout, diet, hair & skin care, beauty secrets, and her success story.
Namita Nayyar:
You as a child grew up in the city of Chicago and then as a ballerina started dancing in your mother’s studio, and you danced with many prestigious dance companies including the Fort Worth ballet. Later you took to start your career in modeling and worked for many notable fashion brands, dozens of commercials, television, and film. This propelled your modeling career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of fashion and glamour modeling. You ventured into Game Show Modeling in Barker’s Beauty on The Price is Right during its 31st season. Tell us something about this fairy tale journey?
Jesse Golden:
Haha I love that you call it a fairy tale because to me it was quite the contrary. I actually did some childhood modeling but my dance schedule was so regimen that I was burnt out and quit. Dance was the love of my life but it also took up most of my time to be a kid. Looking back though, I don’t know that I would have made it had I not had dance to transmute all the chaos on my home front. When I was 17 years young I went to Florida on Spring Break and never went back home. Out of need, I found my way back to modeling in South Beach, Miami. I have always had a love/hate relationship with modeling. I hated the game of it and superficialness but loved the freedom and money. Not until I became a Mother did I fully embrace my modeling career. I modeled my entire pregnancy and started booking jobs with my son right after. Then with the boom of yoga I was able to have another career boost. At the time there was hardly any models who were actually yoga teachers so I was able to be the face of almost every major yoga company there was at the time. I loved being able to share yoga in this way. It made modeling so much more fulfilling. At this time I was in California, where I currently live now and with that comes lots of commercial, television and movie offers. Although being an actress was never a goal of mine, I managed to book some pretty cool jobs. As a single mother, it allowed me to spend lots of quality time with my son and afford everything he needed. That was always my main motivation.
Namita Nayyar:
At 41 plus years of age, you have one of the most desirable chiseled sculpted bodies. Women of your age aspire to be just like you. Tell us the secret to this stunning personality?
Jesse Golden:
First of all, thank you so much. Growing up as a dancer, I have always been very active. Although my exercises are much more moderate these days, I remain very active through yoga, pilates and simple circuit and weight training at home. I also love taking walks on the beach and hiking with my family. I put a lot of time in to staying fit when I was younger so nowadays it’s really just about maintaining my physique.
Namita Nayyar:
You are a leading media personality, model, devoted mother, holistic health practitioner, hatha yoga teacher, author, entrepreneur, and brand ambassador. How do you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
Jesse Golden:
Simply put, I do what is right in front of me and family and health always comes first. I am very regimen when it comes to my work ethic so I carve out time to focus on my priorities for the day and accomplish what I can. Running a business and being a mother teaches you to be fluid and manage several things at once. The days that are the most productive and balanced for me are the days where I spend some quiet time before my day starts and envision exactly how I want it to go. Always leaving room for miracles and not allowing myself to be disappointed if things don’t go as planned.
