Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar had a candid interview with Playboy Playmate Jenna Bentley where she talks about her workout, diet, hair & skin care, beauty secrets and success story.
Namita Nayyar:
You were discovered court-side at a Phoenix versus Celtics basketball game in Arizona. After signing with a top agency in Scottsdale, you took to start your career in modeling. This propelled your modeling career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of fashion and glamour modeling. Tell us more about this fairy tale journey?
Jenna Bentley:
When I was 18 I went to a Phoenix Sun’s Basketball game and wore a very sexy cheerleader-style outfit that I had made myself. I got a lot of attention in it, fans and the basketball players all asked to take photos with me that day and I felt like a celebrity, ha-ha.
I was then spotted by a top model agent and they asked me to join their agency. I’m 5ft 11′ tall and was very slim back then so had the perfect fashion model proportions. That was the start of my modelling career and it wasn’t long before I was walking runway shows and appearing in fashion shoots, etc. It was totally unexpected but very exciting for me.
Namita Nayyar:
You move from Los Angeles to New York, Chicago for your professional career and also to visit family back in Montana. For a model adjusting to new cities and countries with their own cultures, it must be difficult and then to adjust with modeling career in the new foreign land, what advice you can give to fellow models in a similar situation?
Jenna Bentley:
I’m originally from Montana but have travelled since a young age. Every city is different with their own cultures and trends, and you may not feel at ease with everything, but as long as you respect everyone and are friendly, you’ll be fine. I initially thought I fitted in best in NYC, which is where my fashion modelling career kicked off.
However, it was before I had breast implants, I had a double size zero figure and was starving myself to stay skinny enough for work so I could fit in with the fashion model crowd.
My boobs were double d’s naturally and fashion designers would make me tape them down for runway shows. I eventually grew discouraged by this and, after two years of starving myself and being told my figure wasn’t good enough, I decided to relocate to California and try to pursue glamour modelling instead where my large breasts and body would be embraced and accepted. I instantly felt at ease in California because I could be myself. Moving there quickly led me on to Playboy.

Namita Nayyar:
You are a world-leading media personality, glamour model, fashion model, and brand ambassador. How do you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
Jenna Bentley:
I do many things, but I manage it all by simply taking one step at a time. I set a goal or start a project and see it through until completion, then move on to the next. I also work hard and will work whatever hours I need to. With regards to my career choices, I try not to focus too much on what others think of me because it’s impossible to make everyone happy.
I constantly evolve, take leaps of faith and do whatever I want to do when it comes to my career. I’m mentally strong and make things happen with sheer determination and focus. If you really want something, don’t take no for an answer, never give up!
Namita Nayyar:
What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?
Jenna Bentley:
For years, I used to do an hour of cardio daily to stay in shape but I eventually hit a plateau, it happens more as you get older. I realised I had to change up my exercise regime and also start making better choices with my food/diet. If you hit a plateau, try something else! And, as long as you eat healthy, you will be fine.
During Covid-19, it’s been hard to get to the gym for weight training, but I have 5lb free weights and an elliptical trainer at home and use those instead. I do squats, lunges and bicep curls using the weights and use the elliptical machine for cardio.
Namita Nayyar:
Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Jenna Bentley:
Six years ago, I made the decision to start making healthy choices with my diet to help maintain my figure and improve my health. This includes things such as drinking water instead of alcohol when I go out for dinner. If I eat pizza, I won’t have dessert – or if I eat a salad, I’ll treat myself to a small bowl of ice-cream.
I always balance what I eat and only eat the “bad” stuff in moderation, but I never deprive myself because it’s unnecessary. Following fad diets or starving yourself is a recipe for disaster; it doesn’t work and is unhealthy for both the mind and body. Do everything in moderation and maintain a healthy lifestyle that’s balanced and you will look and feel great!
Namita Nayyar:
You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your hair care and skincare routine.
Jenna Bentley:
I keep things fairly simple! I drink a gallon of water daily and this genuinely helps my skin, keeping it hydrated, supple and pimple-free. I avoid soda and alcohol and just drink water instead – it’s the best beauty product in the World and it’s free! For my hair, I use an intensive moisturizing hair mask once a week, which helps keep it soft especially because I like to change my hair colour regularly.
Namita Nayyar:
It is a dream comes true for a model to appear for Playboy. Tell us more about your experience of working with Playboy.
Jenna Bentley:
The Playboy reality TV show “Girls Next Door” came on the E! Channel and, after watching it, I realised I wanted to a part of Hugh Hefner’s world. At that time I was studying online at Montana State University and couldn’t get the Playboy dream out of my head. So I researched Playboy and discovered they were casting for their Playboy College Girls edition and submitted myself.
Seeing as I was almost 6ft tall with natural DD breasts, blonde hair and blue eyes, they felt I stood out and invited me for a test shoot at Playboy Studio West. They absolutely loved me and flew me out to attend their big ‘Midsummers Night’s Dream’ annual party at the Playboy Mansion. After that, I never left and moved straight in to the Bunny House within the Playboy Mansion grounds. Hugh Hefner was wonderful and I was treated like a princess whilst living there.
My first shoots were for Playboy College Girls and Playboy Cyber Girls, then I worked my way up until I became a Playboy Playmate and posed for the main edition of Playboy Magazine in numerous countries Worldwide. I made the front cover a few times, with my most-recent one being the South African Playboy Magazine in 2018. It’s been an incredible journey!”
Namita Nayyar:
Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding fashion model girls, who all are your fans and shall like to know from you for their climb to the ladder of success in the field of modeling?
Jenna Bentley:
You must be mentally strong and have a very thick skin, because if you are weak or overly sensitive, you will struggle in the modeling industry.
When I first started, fashion agents would tell me I was too fat and I’d go home and cry. I soon realised I had to toughen up. You are judged on your appearance in modelling and must be prepared for criticism sometimes.
Maybe choose a modelling genre that suits your natural body type too, I changed from fashion to glamour/bikini modelling and it was much better for me. My other advice is be passionate about what you do otherwise there’s no point doing it at all – and be kind and humble. Nobody likes selfish/mean people with big egos!
Namita Nayyar:
Five Top fashion brands you love to wear. Five athleisure brands you love.
Jenna Bentley:
I couldn’t name five but I will share my favourites. Top fashion brands I love to wear most are Louis Vuitton and Chanel, which I team with high street brands such as Fashion Nova, Hot Miami Styles and MissGuided which are great for me because I’m tall (they offer tall sizing options) and lots of their items are stretchy and fit a variety of body shapes, As well as great casual options and evening pieces, Fashion Nova and Hot Miami Styles also offer super cute and comfortable leisurewear options, so they are definitely my go-to shopping sites!
I also love Khloe Kardsahian’s “Good American” jeans range because it has so many pairs of jeans that fit me well. I met Khloe before, she was the same height as me and had a similar body shape, so when she released her denim line, I knew she’d cater for my body type/height.
Namita Nayyar:
You have done bold photo shoots with Esquire, FHM, Maxim, and Playboy. How you are so body confident and advice to your compatriots?
Jenna Bentley:
I have been both super skinny and curvy and, as I got a bit older, I realised that people appreciate all types of body shapes. There is something for everyone! I personally prefer being a bit more curvy because it’s my natural body type, I would have to starve myself to be skinny, which would make me miserable. I love my curves and big boobs and often get complimented on them, so I just choose to relax and embrace my body when I do photo shoots. I exercise and make healthy choices diet-wise – my body is treated right – it gives me extra confidence.
Namita Nayyar:
What do you wish to say about the website Womenfitness.net and message for its visitors?
Jenna Bentley:
I adore the site; it’s so positive, healthy and informative! I’m excited to share my own experiences and tips with the readers – I hope they can gain something positive from it all.
Namita Nayyar:
Today social media plays a vital role in putting your message across to your followers and fans. What is your message for the 809k followers on Instagram?
Jenna Bentley:
I aim to give a body positive image on my Instagram page @JennaBentley007 – I post photos that show off my curves and I feel empowered by this.
Women can post sexy photos of themselves; it doesn’t mean they’re cheap or dumb. I have a Master’s Degree, but also like to show off my body! What’s the harm in that? And hopefully posting photos of my curvy figure will show others than its OK not to be stick-thin, there is room for all body types in the World, so learn to love what you have! I hope my followers/fans enjoy my content and I appreciate their admiration and support.
