Ms. Namita Nayyar: What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you shall like to share?
Ms. Jade Louise Ewen: Believe it or not I love to squat ha ha! I am not a naturally curvy woman, I have always been petite with an extremely high metabolism. Squatting along with other heavy weight low rep exercises help me build the curves I want. I will do leg workouts once a week, usually Mondays. Then biceps, back and shoulders on Wednesdays and then focus on my abs on Fridays. I really love Bikram Yoga when I get the chance to do it.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Ms. Jade Louise Ewen: Currently I am not on a special diet, and I’m not sure how much I believe in ‘diets’ as such. I pretty much eat what I want but I don’t tend to eat too badly anyway, it’s more about portion control and focusing on what’s GOOD for you. My diet is pretty high in protein so lots of fish and chicken, with vegetables and complex carbs.
There’s nothing wrong with having a treat, but I try to make sure a treat is just that!
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have glowing skin and gorgeous hairs. Do you take some kind of skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hairs to make them look so stunning?
Ms. Jade Louise Ewen: I LOVE Noveau Skin Therapy, they do an amazing facial called The Lunchtime with A-Lift which I have in London. I swear I leave looking like a new person! I also take a whole food supplement called Juice Plus: http://www.supermodelsecret.co.uk which makes your hair skin and nails grow longer and thicker as well as boosts your immune system and claims to help protect against cancer as it is full of antioxidants. I swear by it.
Jade Louise Ewen on WomenFitness: I think it’s fab! I really do. It’s aimed at ALL women and that to me is a huge YES. |
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Advice and motivational words for the inspiring and budding singers and actresses who all are your fans, what should they do for their climb to the ladder of success in field of singing and acting?
Ms. Jade Louise Ewen: Gosh that’s a hard one. I think just perfect your craft and be prepared for the unexpected. I work very hard in ensuring I am always ready for whatever challenge is thrown at me and I never stop training. It’s not too different to being an athlete, you need to make sure you’re at the top of your game and delivering the best you possibly can. You also need to prepare yourself for rejection as this comes more than success. If you can then get a great support network around you. Be nice to everyone and most importantly – listen. Oh, and never be late!
