Namita Nayyar, President Women Fitness catches up with Iryna Ivanova on her wonderful modelling journey and fitness tips.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You made a huge decision of moving to the U.S. from Ukraine, and to finally becoming one of the hottest and most successful Playboy Playmates to date. Walk us through your incredible journey and tell us how it all began?

Ms. Iryna Ivanova:

To be honest, my mom and I moved to the U.S. for a better life and better future for both of us. I have seen and lived poverty for way too long and was determined to change the situation. Moving to another country as a teenager is extremely difficult, probably the most difficult thing I have done to this day. I left all of my friends behind and moved to a new country where I had to learn the new language and most importantly, somehow, I had to figure out how to make new friends, considering that I am a very shy person. The first two years of my life were pretty difficult but I was not going to give up nor was I going to go back. I would have never believed that I would end up where I am now.

Introduce us to a day in your life.

Ms. Iryna Ivanova:

I am a huge believer in getting a full 8 hours of sleep, as it makes a huge difference in quality work that would be done during the day. I eat breakfast while doing my hair and make up to save some time. Generally, I take some time to take selfies or to go through photos and figure out which one to post for the day and believe me, sometimes it is HARD to choose and come up with a clever caption. I also spread out my day between checking emails, doing IG live, and FB live to chat with my fans and answer their questions. Personally, I prefer working out in the evening since I am not a morning person.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine?

Ms. Iryna Ivanova:

I have three categories of workout days:

– Chest/Back: bench press, incline dumbbell chest press, row, fly, lat pulldown, etc.
– Shoulders/Arms: shoulder raises/side raises, bicep curl, triceps extension, rear shoulder exercise, etc.
– Glutes/Legs: squats, split squats, walking lunges, hamstring ball, quad press, etc.

I exercise with a trainer for 1 hour/day, 6 days/week. I would probably do 7 days, but my trainer won’t allow it, as my body needs rest. I do not follow a super strict diet, as it is hard for me to keep the weight on. My routine consists of heavy weight lifting and very little cardio, which I usually substitute with hiking. I find treadmills extremely boring.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?

Ms. Iryna Ivanova:

My diet consists of very high proteins, healthy fats, and low carbs, but sometimes I can’t resist the cupcake at night. 🙂

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your haircare and skincare routine.

Ms. Iryna Ivanova:

Thank you for that! I religiously take care of my skin as it is my highest priority. I am a firm believer in chemical peel, vampire facials and retin A products. Also, I never ever go to sleep with make up on, even on the days when I go out and am absolutely exhausted my priority is to wash my face.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

With an audience of over 2.2 Million followers on your Instagram account @playmateiryna you’re a social media sensation and an internet leading star. How does it feel that you are able to influence the healthy lifestyle of so many individuals?

Ms. Iryna Ivanova:

Haha, I don’t know if I’ve achieved “sensation” status yet but, I’m trying! Any positive or healthy lifestyle change that I can influence on my followers is extremely gratifying to me. I, myself went through a lot of ups and downs before achieving the diet, exercise routine and body that I am happy with, and to this day I am still working on improving and reaching my goals.

Tell us about your future plans/projects in the field of modelling.

Ms. Iryna Ivanova:

Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding models, who all are your followers and shall like to know from you for their climb to the ladder of success in this field?

Ms. Iryna Ivanova:

The success factor in modeling is exactly the same as any other skill or profession — daily focus. I am exercising, eating organic foods, and living a healthy lifestyle to make sure I am always in top shape. I am also online all day, every day, showing my love and gratitude to my community with videos, pictures, and communication.

What do you wish to say about the website Womenfitness.net and message for its visitors?

Ms. Iryna Ivanova:

I believe we should appreciate what we have and be happy with our bodies not with what the Internet tells us to be. If you are not happy you have all the tools to change the situation around you. Surely it is not easy, but it is not impossible.
