Whether focusing on mental health, championing social causes, or embracing new creative ventures, their journeys remind us that every resolution is a step toward becoming our best selves.
Here’s how these remarkable women plan to make 2025 unforgettable.
“My resolution for 2025 is to never settle for less than I deserve. Always, always follow my dreams and be true to myself. And if you are really lucky, one day you might find yourself on the cover of Women’s Fitness. Happy New Year.”
Hannah Widmer – Model
“My two 2025 new year resolutions are to spend less time on my phone at night, and get back to and maintain my peak performance weight which is 8lbs lighter than I am at this moment. My message is to get after your goals regardless of how scary they may be. Start small and work your way up. Write your own path if you have to. Just believe in yourself 100% of the time!”
Kristen Nuss – American beach volleyball player,
Six times Gold Medalist FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour
“Embrace each moment & find the good in the moment as my fiance does so well!”
Taryn Kloth – American beach volleyball player
Bronze Medalist 2023 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championship
“My resolution for the new year is to honor the importance of mental and emotional health in my physical workouts. My message for women everywhere is to remember that we are whole beings: body, mind, and heart, and they work together for our overall health. Let’s take care of the whole self and not just body parts in 2025. Happy New Year.”
Desi Bartlett –
Yoga, Health and Wellness Expert
“My new year’s resolution is to develop habits to create an attitude of gratitude. To do this I am going to incorporate writing down 3 things that I am grateful/proud of in my morning routine. We all can get so caught up in the future and what we wish to accomplish that we forget to be grateful and proud of what we already have and who we already are. My new year’s wish for Women Fitness subscribers is that you find strength, resilience, and solidarity in the face of adversity. May we continue to rise together this year, supporting each other, as we fight for justice, equality, and freedom. Given the challenges women face, it’s more important than ever that we support one another.”
Laneah Bryan – US Flag Football Athlete
Twice Gold Medalist Flag Football World Championships
“My New Year’s resolution for 2025 would not only focus on performance, mental toughness and recovery, like in the last few years. I will in fact play in the Beach Volleyball World Tour with a new teammate, and we have committed ourselves to playing a faster and an even more athletic game, contributing to bringing our sport to the next level. This will require perfect technical alignment, clocking of movements, and harmony. No secret sauce anyway: sticking to a structured routine, consistently chasing the smallest improvement, and measuring the daily progress is the key to long-term growth. And doing it with someone at your side having the same goals, makes it fun! My message for the Women Fitness viewers and subscribers is to enjoy any change in your life; in most of the cases they come unplanned, but they bring along always new opportunities. It is up to you to chase them!”
Valentina Gottardi – Italian beach volleyball player
Silver medal at the European Championship
“My New years resolution for 2025. is to live my life fully, do things that make me happy and to hold my head high through whatever the year brings. We often somehow disregard our needs and wants to help others, but it is also very important to think abbout yourself and your own happines. If you are satisfied with yourself it will be easier to make others happy as well. And to everyone I wish a lot of health, happiness and success in this New Year. Stay strong, be persistent in what you do and always be true to yourself”
Tijana Korent – Croatian Gymnast
Gold Medalist Artistic Gymnastics World Cup
“My resolution is to take at least 30 minutes of undistracted quality time for myself every day.”
Ilona Hannich – Swiss Equestrian Vaulter
Bronze Medalist 2024 World Championship
“Another year has passed – a year filled with challenges, personal achievements, and moments that made us stronger. Now it’s time to embrace 2025 with fresh energy and full motivation! As an active athlete, volunteer firefighter, and artist, I know how important fitness is for both physical and mental strength. It gives me the power to approach all my roles – whether it’s at the fire station, on stage, or in daily life – with passion and determination. Fitness is not just a lifestyle for me; it’s the foundation for balance, endurance, and confidence. For the year ahead, I wish you all the best in reaching your fitness and personal goals with joy and perseverance. Whether you’re starting a new challenge, beginning a workout routine, or simply paying more attention to your well-being – believe in yourself and find joy in movement! Fitness is not only about getting stronger; it’s also about discovering a source of happiness and vitality. Let’s make 2025 a year of growth – physically, mentally, and emotionally. Stay active, embrace your strengths, and above all: be kind to yourself. I’m looking forward to all that lies ahead and wish you a healthy, active, and inspiring New Year!”
Anike Ekina – Glamour Supermodel

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!”
Leah Neset – An American Ice Dancer

“I wish all people and readers in 2025 NY and for all future years always to do what their inner child wants: to play the sport they like, to be friends with warm people close in spirit, to love and be loved, to choose job and hobby according to their heart -because our life is too short to spend it on compromises with ourselves.”
Valentina Gurova – CEO & Founder, PR Aliyans Media Group,

“This New Year, I’m setting out to inspire women to put their health first, find their strength, and embrace self-love. Fitness isn’t about being perfect; it’s about the journey—messy, sweaty, and full of small wins that add up over time. My goal is to help women set realistic goals, discover their inner power, and build a healthy, happy life in every sense—mind, body, and soul. To all Women Fitness subscribers, here’s to 2025! May it bring you energy, confidence, progress, and plenty of moments to celebrate. Let’s tackle this year with determination, balance, and a whole lot of inspiration—together.”
Salma Elsaied – Egyptian Artistic Gymnast

“I would like to start my presentation by wishing you and your readers a successful year 2025, that you will be happy, healthy and successful in it. I would like to make a slight retrospective of the year 2024, which was apparently my year. I believe that the victory in Mykonos and the new title of Miss Tourism Palnet 2024/25 both part of my hard work and luck because I believe that good comes back to good. considering that I was very motivated, hardworking and made a success, I have a big task to remain at that level in the upcoming year 2025. Also, whenever I had a plan, realization and a clear desire/goal, I achieved results. I would also like to be the best version of myself in 2025, to remain true to myself and to be, as before, a successful ambassador of the beauty and cultural sights of my country. One of the things I love about my job, or modeling, is traveling, which allows me to make friends all over the world and get to know new cultures and traditions. What I want for myself is to have time to devote myself to training and care, because in Serbia it is said that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body. I believe that every woman is beautiful in her own way, while people who love themselves and are happy with themselves are special, in a balanced way, both emotionally, professionally and physically. I think that is the key to success prefixed with self-belief. Because no matter what you do, if you don’t have that self-confidence and don’t think you’re the best, you’ll hardly be classified in the first row of winners.”
Marija Čitaković – Fashion Model

1- To do what I want to do and not let other people influence my decisions.
2- Prioritize myself and my happiness.“
Rose Woo – Canadian Elite Artistic Gymnast

“My New Year’s resolution is to be in the “here and now” to enjoy my athlete life with everything it has to offer. I want to take a step in my archery career as well as in my police woman career.”
Elisa Tartler – German Archer
Bronze Medalist 2022 World Games
“For 2025 I want to make some big changes and get the road started towards the Olympics of 2028. I want to be the best version of myself, for me but also for others. It’s been four years now since my mom passed away and I have gone through so much in this short time. Losing my mom, the covid lockdown, the abuse scandal in Belgian gymnastics, nationality change, major elbow surgery, missing out on the olympics,.. It felt like I was a magnet for bad luck and setbacks. I’ve spent a lot of time feeling like it is not meant to be for me. That mindset I want to change for 2025. I need to think positively and have faith that I will get what I deserve in the end, what I’m working so hard for. So I will be where my feet are and enjoy every moment. I would give this advice to every woman in sports or life. Be where your feet are and enjoy the little things that make life so beautiful. There is so much pressure to be perfect, to be excellent, and we strive for that. But we need to celebrate every little win and embrace the losses. Positivity is the key.”
