Marigold(Genda)
The orange marigold is a prolific garden plant. It opens its petals at nine and closes them at four. A disinfectant herb, marigold has been used in the effective treatment of ulcers and open sores. The flowers may be eaten raw, taken as a standard infusion or the latter applied as a lotion. The same plant cures varicose veins and other circulatory troubles. As a lotion, a marigold infusion (petals only) provides the ideal balancer of an over-oily skin and all complexions.
