Namita Nayyar:
You won the Teatro de Madrid award for best actress in 2013 and 2015. How these awards motivate you to do even better?
Ester Expósito:
Those awards were very important for me because I loved doing theatre and I wasn’t working at the time so they were a great support to continue growing as an actress and fighting for my passion.
Namita Nayyar:
We are absolutely ecstatic about your new show, “Someone Has To Die.” Tell us about the show and the role that you’ll be playing in it?
Ester Expósito:
It’s a show different than anything you may have seen before, all my partners are incredible actors and actresses and the story Manolo Caro wrote, I think it’s a really great story. My character is a seventeen years old girl that apparently seems sweet and nice.
Namita Nayyar:
An unforgettable experience from your first-ever audition. Four tips for beginners.
Ester Expósito:
I don’t remember my first audition, but I think it’s very important to go with an open mind and ready to explore in the moment, the scene you are going to act and let yourself go inside the character, without much thinking and without caring about reactions of the people looking at you, I think that’s the only thing that will give you the opportunity to do something different than the rest of the people who are attending to the casting and to call the attention of the casting directors.
Namita Nayyar:
Your morning beauty ritual before a shoot? Haircare routine that you follow in the day and before going to bed?
Ester Expósito:
When I wake up I always wash my face, and if I’m going to wear make up that day I hydrate it a lot. Every night I hydrate it too.
I don’t take much care of my hair, but I try to avoid applying heat on it if it’s not necessary, and sometimes I apply hydrating masks to stay all over the night and wash it the next day.
