Hot Fitness Tip of the week

Pilates is a good system for waist-toning because it concentrates on the 'core', and also often involves stability balls-those large, inflatable grown-up beach balls that you often find in gyms. Good gym exercises include sitting on the ball with one foot on the floor and the other stretched out in front, holding for a count of ten and then swapping over. A good Pilates move involves lying on the floor with the ball tucked up to your bottom and your legs curled round the top, then concentrating on your breathing, engaging your abdominal muscles as you do so.

Words of Inspiration

Learn to Forgive Yourself.

It is hard for other people to forgive you if you do not exercise self forgiveness. Self forgiveness comes when you first accept that you are in the wrong. Do not live in denial, be honest with yourself. Forgive yourself and be at peace with your conscience. Pen down five things you would like to change about yourself and then go about changing those shortcomings one step at a time.

Ignore the negative criticism and harsh judgment that you will encounter from people. Know that even those acting holy and judging you are no better, because we all have our shortcomings.

Transced to be the person you would love to be. Now is the time to take action.

Top 10 Foods to Watch Out in 2012

Hunger is a serious issue number of people face all over the world. It hardly matters whether you are underweight or overweight, the time when the blood glucose level drops the body goes into an alarming state of hunger.

What you eat determines the next shot of hunger pang. There are certain foods which leave you craving for more within a short duration. Let's check out the foods that cause hunger

White Rice
One food that can cause you to become very hungry shortly after eating it is, white rice. Its ingestion leads to a large blood sugar spike, which is then followed by a sharp decline as insulin is released and comes and sucks all that glucose out of the blood. As the blood sugar levels crashes, this sets of the hunger signal in the brain that’s going to prompt you to consume more food.
