The key to maximizing performance in the gym, whether we are talking about muscle development or fat loss is keeping the intensity high. Many people think they're training intensely, but the sad fact is most people are not. Most people "undertrain" and "overtrain" at the same time.
Static training is an advanced training technique designed to generate high intensity by maximizing weight while minimizing hold times. How this is done is by holding on to the muscle's particular position for an extended amount of time (typically five to fifteen seconds) to give the muscle a new way of training and experience a different load. This technique is very effective because when used sparingly provides the muscle with a force not typically employed, and as such it can also employ the recruitment of additional supporting muscle fibers. It is also a favorite of mine because it can increase intensity on the muscle without having to add a lot of additional weight, which can pose strain on the joints. Another good benefit is that it can be used at any time - even when training alone.

Look for the power within
Life they say is touch and go. Some people you know may only be there for a time. Some may go away but people who find you special will always find ways to stay.
One measure of friendship consists not in the number of words that friends can discuss, but in the number of words they need no longer mention.
Life's a game, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. But no matter what your cards in life, whether club, spade, or diamond, always remember - never play without a heart! Remember - you are worth not for what you have, not even for who you are, but for what others have become because of you. Wish you the best!
When things go wrong don't go blue. Just pray and say I will get through. We are never given dream without also being given the power to make them come true.
Always remember God Loves You!

Healthy Recipe
Veggies Extraordinaire
Makes: 4 servings
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 cup small broccoli florets
1 cup cremini mushrooms, sliced
1 medium carrot, peeled and sliced thin
1 cup eggplant*, peeled and diced
2 green onions, cut into 1/2 inch pieces, including the green stems
1 medium potato, cooked and sliced
2 ripe plum tomatoes, chopped
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup white grape juice (dry white wine may be substituted)
1/4 cup tomato juice
1 tsp. dried or 1 Tbsp. chopped, fresh oregano
Directions:
Heat oil over medium-high heat in large skillet. Add all vegetables, except potatoes and tomatoes. Cook, stirring gently and frequently, until tender-crisp, about 8 to 10 minutes. Add potatoes and tomatoes. Continue to stir gently and frequently for an additional 3 minutes.
Combine lemon, grape and tomato juices, and oregano in a small bowl and mix thoroughly. Add sauce to skillet and simmer until liquid begins to thicken, about 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
*Hint: select smaller, younger ones and blot cubes with paper towels to remove moisture, don't rinse the pieces because they absorb too much water.

Top 10 Answers on dieting and weight loss diets
Forget everything you've been told about dieting and
weight loss diets Because if you want to lose weight and
change your life you must change the way you think about
dieting.
Stop worrying about being overweight
No matter how overweight you are, stop worrying!
Why? Because worrying keeps you fat. (It does, trust me)
When you get anxious about your job or worry over a
relationship, your body deals with the problem by
producing cortisol or the stress hormone. Cortisol is
released into the blood stream where it hastens the
formation of fat deposits, particularly around the waist
and more so in women. In fact, studies have also shown
that on-again-off-again dieters, who constantly worry
about their weight, tend to have higher cortisol levels,
making weight loss even more difficult. Cortisol helps
the body maintain vital processes in times of stress.
However, an excess of it causes progressive loss of
protein, muscle weakness and breakdown and loss of bone
mass. This, in turn, lowers the metabolism rate. The
body goes into emergency mode and stores higher amounts
of fat.
