Hot Fitness Tip of the week

The old theory was that cellulite was caused by toxins building up under the skin but that's probably not true. It's more likely to be the result of poor skin structure, causing the fiber to split. This means fat and yes, possibly toxins squish out through the holes in the fibers creating that lumpy effect. In other words, your bottom is rather like and old mattress with the stuffing sticking out!

Chances are the problem is genetic and lies with the x- chromosome (only women have this which would explain why men don't get cellulite). While all this may mean cellulite isn't your fault, reducing its appearance is within your control. Strengthening the skin fibers, plumping the skin's surfaces and breaking down the stubborn fat and toxins deposits, can help minimize the look of cellulite.

Words of Inspiration

Growing challenge

No matter how magnificently you may arrange your life, no matter what evel of wealth, power, position or respect you may attain, there will always be challenges for you to face. In fact, the higher you climb, the more daunting the challenges usually become. Fortunately, your ability to prevail against challenge also increases with every accomplishment.

There will always be challenge and right along with it, opportunity. There will always be the need for strength, for courage, for focus and perseverance.

Those who put off facing the challenges until "someday" find that the someday never comes. Those who wait for things to get better, instead of doing something about their situation, will find things getting worse and worse.

Meet each challenge as quickly and as competently as you can. There will be another one right behind it. And as you work your way through them all, you'll find yourself fully alive. Success comes not from the absence of challenge, but from the ever-increasing ability to benefit from it.

Success Quote

"If you are serious about your goals, drop the conditions. Go directly to your goal. Be your goal! Conditions often disguise strategies for escaping accountability. Why not just take charge and create the experience you are looking for?"

Top 10 Anti-aging Nutrition Habits

While aging is inevitable, physical decrepitude is not. Many of the outwards signs of growing old can be slowed - and life may even be prolonged - by maintaining a sensible approach to diet.

Aim at consuming a balanced diet that is rich in fiber. Ensure your diet is 60 to 65 per cent carbohydrate content - that is fruits, vegetables, breads, pastas and rice. Of this amount, 55 per cent should be in the form of complex carbohydrates and whole-grain products, and no more than 10 per cent from simple carbohydrates (cakes etc.). Complement this with a diet that is 20 to 30 per cent fat content, and finally balance off your diet with 15 per cent protein content - that is meats, soy and dairy products. It is important to note that, although protein deficiency plays a role in the development of osteoporosis, too much protein can also promote bone loss. So it is imperative to get the correct amount of protein and avoid eating protein in excess.

A healthy, balanced diet will help you maintain a healthy body composition and weight and provide you with the nutrients for optimal health and functioning.
