Good posture is vital. It affects your
image and sends signals to others. Your spine is the most important
factor affecting your posture. In order to have the best possible
posture (and health), your spine has to be in the best possible
condition. When your spine is out of alignment, this can lead to
early degeneration and decay of your spine as well as pinched
nerves. To learn more on good posture check out this week's article

The body's metabolic rate has a natural cycle of highs and lows, peaking late in
the day and dropping to its lowest level during sleep. It makes sense to avoid
putting a large meal into your system after 8:00 at night when your metabolic
rate is beginning to slow down. If you do feel hungry after this time, you don't
need to go to bed hungry, just try to eat something especially healthy and in
small portions. |

Have You Learned Yet?
Mistakes are great teachers. The lessons you learn
from them are very specific, compelling and highly appropriate to your own
unique situation. Your mistakes are custom-designed lessons, made just
for you. Mistakes are very persistent teachers. If you fail to learn from them,
they'll keep coming back, stronger each time, until you do. Learning from your
mistakes is more than just an intellectual exercise. When you've truly learned
from a mistake, it will change your actions or behavior. When you realize
that you've made a mistake, consider this.
Have you learned its lesson yet? Are you doing
something differently as a result? If so, then you've made the very best of the
situation and used the mistake to your advantage. You've learned, you've grown,
and you've become more effective. A successful life is built in large part by
trial and error. Give your mistakes the respect they deserve, learn what
they have to teach, and they will propel you forward.

The Basic Makeover for your
Posture
Good posture is vital. It affects your image and sends signals to others. A
woman with a shuffling slouch does not look confident or like she has much to
offer, she seems to be retreating into herself, and she may be left there,
alone. Many therapists confirm that the stronger and happier we are, the better
our posture.
Posture is the window to the spine. If posture is out of balance, then the spine
is out of balance, putting unhealthy pressure upon your nervous system.
Activities as subtle as sleeping, standing or walking abnormally; to more
obvious traumas like emotional stress, work or auto injuries, computer work,
recreational injuries and even the birth process itself can result in spinal
imbalance. Your spine is the most important factor affecting your posture. In
order to have the best possible posture (and health), your spine has to be in
the best possible condition. When your spine is out of alignment, this can lead
to early degeneration and decay of your spine as well as pinched nerves.
Posture also affects your health. Rounded shoulders prevent the lungs from
functioning correctly and giving you the puff you need under stress. Slouching
couch-potato-like for hours every evening can eventually cause the 'scrunching'
of your inner organs and the inhibition of proper digestion.
