Namita Nayyar:
You featured in the Survivor TV show. Tell us more about your experience working on this television show and tell us an episode on the shooting of this show that you wish to share.
Elisa De Panicis Agnelli:
Being on a desert island for 56 days. Being by myself for a period of time and another with other people’s company is not something that happens every day. For sure one of my favourite experiences of my career.
But the best thing happened before the show aired. We were sent to a military training school. I always loved being dressed as a military woman, to follow my father footsteps, I really tried that, before dancing at 17, and the only problem was my sight that wasn’t good enough. But also the best feeling was, after the show.
To see and hug again all my friends and family. I was completely changed and more mature. Through that you understand that life is surviving and fighting every day.

Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding fashion model girls, who all are your fans and shall like to know from you for their climb to the ladder of success in the field of modeling?
Elisa De Panicis Agnelli:
Is very important to give and expecting nothing in return, it’s never too late to achieve your own dreams. You have to believe in yourself and step by step through a positive mind set you’ll get everything you desire for every model, but this is true for everyone, never wait for your goals, and achieve them. You have to be the one who starts, if you’re a model, singer or TV host, be prepared to get what you deserve.
Namita Nayyar:
Your endeavour of luxury clothing line “Elisadepanicis Collection” is a class apart. Tell us more about this venture of yours?
Elisa De Panicis Agnelli:
I think that being a woman and to work in the world of fashion and luxury it’s a privilege. I personally wanted to bring style and elegance to this world that is grinding now.
It’s a challenge because there are many people trying to do it, but that gives me more strength and motivates me. I love new projects, everything started in 2018 when I met my business partner Angelo in Mykonos, a hard working guy, he was part of the world of fashion and he helped me build my own business.
Initially I didn’t know how to start, drawings, fabrics etc. And everything seemed so hard. But at the end we created something unique and made in Italy’s. I use to draw since I was little, I studied at the artistic high school in Brera, Milan, so I think I could recognize a fabric just by touching it. So at the end I designed my bikini line, still not 100% satisfied because I’m always trying to improve and this summer the collection was live very late. But this doesn’t stop me, but gives me the energy to work on the 2021 collection with new colours, patterns and some exclusive handmade pieces.
Namita Nayyar:
You have done bold photo-shoots for a number of fashion houses and on your Instagram handle @elisadepanicis. How you are so body confident and advice to your compatriots?
Elisa De Panicis Agnelli:
I worked for Harpers Bazar Glamour, L’officiel and many others, being a proud Italian woman and having a realistic beauty standard. I feel like the girl next door and this is what makes me feel closer to my followers. At this point of your life you have to understand that you have to work for yourself and not let the big industries scam you by saying that you’re not good enough. YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH if you’re yourself.
