Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar catches up with Elena Gusmeroli, a Italian fashion model, Instagram celebrity, world-leading media personality, influencer, and brand ambassador here she talks about her fitness routine, her diet, skincare, haircare, and her success story.
Namita Nayyar:
Tell us of your childhood, and early professional work that propelled your modeling career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of fashion and glamour modeling. Elaborate about your journey of hard work, tenacity, and endurance?
Elena Gusmeroli:
I was born in Morbegno, a small village in Valtellina, northern Italy, where I did my early schooling. I moved to Milan at the age of nineteen, where I studied Education for years, at Cattolica University. I also studied theatrical acting in Milan at “Teatro Attivo” and in LA, at Ivana Chubbuck Studio. I started modeling at 20 years of age and took part in different fashion shows and fashion photoshoots. The first shooting I did was in Bali, and I started to like it. I first collaborated with few brands and then it becomes my work. Later in Milan I worked as a model in the television for years, it was a fashion program going on every day on the TV. In Italy the competition is very hard, I always had a more sportive body, with muscles, and most of the brand preferred the thin one, but it’s very different from country to country. I really started to appreciate my body later when I was in Mexico and USA, first because I found love, and second because I realized the idea of beauty it’s different from country to country. I’m surrounded by peoples I love, that helps me every day to be the best version of me.
Namita Nayyar:
What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?
Elena Gusmeroli:
I work out a lot, before I do every day cardio, minimum 30 minutes before breakfast and then a lot of yoga or different exercise. Now I have become lazier, and I work out on alternative days.
Namita Nayyar:
Do you take a special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Elena Gusmeroli:
I always try to eat healthy. My best friend said I eat a lot! but I think if you eat healthy you are ok, you can also eat some tiramisu and be in shape
Namita Nayyar:
You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your haircare and skincare routine.
Elena Gusmeroli:
I had acne problem in the past, and I’m taking care of my skin with sun protection every time I go out also even if is there is no sun. For the hair use natural shampoo and keratin treatments any time I can. I love my life.

Namita Nayyar:
You go to different countries including Mexico , Indonesia, Japan, and US for your professional career and as a travel blogger. For a model to adjust to new countries with their own cultures, it must be difficult, and then to adjust to modeling career in the new foreign land, what advice you can give to fellow models in a similar situation?
Elena Gusmeroli:
I love to travel and I got bored staying in Milan a lot, my advice is to find a good agency in every country you travel that can support you.
Namita Nayyar:
Modeling involves doing bold photoshoots. How you are so body confident and advise to your compatriots?
Elena Gusmeroli:
I’m not so body confident as I show, it is always about acting in life, and remember no one is perfect, here will be always someone more healthier, good looking or smarter than you in this world, but we are not in a competition as we are just here to try our best and to appreciate to God for what he gave to us.
Namita Nayyar:
How do you train your abs? One secret to your toned body.
Elena Gusmeroli:
My abs, always be like that, I think is genetic, Instead I train more my legs.
Namita Nayyar:
Foods you absolutely love.
Elena Gusmeroli:
I love eating truffle risotto, pasta and pizza, but I eat them not very often. In my day I never miss fruits and green vegetable. I’m also a eggs and avocado addict.
Namita Nayyar:
Your skincare advice.
Elena Gusmeroli:
I always use skin moisturizer and sun protection creams.
Namita Nayyar:
Travel destinations on your wish list.
Elena Gusmeroli:
I would love to go to China, Fiji, Philippines and Korea.
Namita Nayyar:

I like Womenfitness.net, because it provides information on being healthy and how to have a good shape body. Also it is an excellent resource for different age woman on how to keep healthy and fit at their age.
Namita Nayyar:
Your idea of a perfect date.
Elena Gusmeroli:
About the perfect date I think it doesn’t exist, and honestly I prefer unplanned event, I don’t like to date a guy. I like more to go to a concert with friends or meet him by mistake, but if I can give an advice to men never show yourself on a date without a present.
Namita Nayyar:
Today social media plays a vital role in putting your message across to your followers and fans. What is your message for the 620k followers on Instagram?
Elena Gusmeroli:
To my follower I can only say thank you for being here, and for supporting me also when I had bad moments. I’m in general very happy for them. It happens sometimes to have negative people but I think its part of the process, and for one bad message I get 100 good one, so I don’t really care too much. Last but not the least I want to tell you everything about myself and you shall be the first to know. I’m actually starting my own company here in Mexico, of sportswear and swimwear, that (I spoiled you) it will be call ”BELLA”, that’s why I’m so busy at the moment, I hope it will goes well and you will be able to see it on my Instagram page very soon.
