Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have been associated with a number of philanthropic causes – including The Way to Happiness Foundation and Keep a Child Alive, which are all dear to your heart, tell us how have you been able to achieve and quench your thirst of giving back to the society through these endeavors?
Ms. Daphne Wayans: Helping others is how we mums spend our days. It goes without saying that if you want to see a change in the world you’d better roll up your sleeves and get your butt out there and start helping. So I find organizations that align with my personal ideas and belief.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You offer parenting and relationship advice as a guest blogger on The Huffington Post. What advice can you give to young mothers who often find it hard managing their weight, post-pregnancy?
Ms. Daphne Wayans: I would suggest that new mothers attach their children to their bodies, get moving and eat plenty of whole foods, eat them till your heart is content. Try your best to eat 80% plant foods, and limit foods with a list of “ingredients.”
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Can you share with us one Smart Tip for women to age beautifully?
Ms. Daphne Wayans: A genuine smile will always do the trick. And if you really want to bowl them over, laugh a lot!
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Lastly, what do you wish to say about the website Womenfitness.net and message for its visitors?
Ms. Daphne Wayans: Womenfitness.net is an excellent place for women to visit and find a world of answers to common queries we all need help with. Women’s Fitness gives you answers that you can really use in life!
