Ms. Namita Nayyar: You are a world-leading Media & TV Personality, Relationship and Parenting Expert, and most importantly a Mother. How do you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
Ms. Daphne Wayans: LOL! There are 20 other hats that I wear too- a chef, a life coach, a driver, a tutor, etc. I manage it all like a nutty clown in a circus, with a sense of humor and perseverance, and the willingness to get up every day and do my best (you know a clown is a real job in the circus).
Ms. Namita Nayyar: What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine which you may wish to share?
Ms. Daphne Wayans: My exercises change with my lifestyle and needs. When my babies were little it really incorporated them- squats/lunges with them on my shoulders, etc. Now I try to include exercise in my life. I go on a walk whilst I check my social media, I do matt work whilst I watch my Ted Talks. I choose the path of most physical resistance. You know what I mean? I don’t so much like a contrived “routine”; I want fitness to be my life. Don’t be surprised if you see me out and about with a sack of laundry balancing on my head, like the beautiful women in Africa.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Ms. Daphne Wayans: I’m pretty lucky in that I naturally like rabbit food. Given the option of all foods, I will naturally gravitate towards those that are healthy. That’s just my palette. I find those foods taste delicious and make me feel really good.
