Claudia Lavender is a British fashion model. She never thought about modeling professionally until she was scouted. She is the New Burberry Girl.
Debuting for Burberry, Claudia Lavender has made an amazing entrance to the fashion industry. The British model has an amazing catwalk and her appearance on the runway is like none other. Claudia Lavender introduced her new blond hair at the fashion show. It is a colour that Claudia Lavender has always wanted to try as it seems very natural to her.
Claudia Lavender has a simple approach to modeling which is to maintain a level head and remain as positive as possible regardless of what comes around. She is excited to be working in the most creative industry.
Her mother modeling agency is The Scouting Firm London. Her other agencies are Select Model Management Paris., Milan Women Direct, Barcelona Traffic Models, Hamburg Modelwerk, Select Model Management Miami and Zurich METRO Models.
Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar catches up with Claudia Lavender, exceptionally talented British fashion model as she talks about her fitness routine, diet, and her success story.
Namita Nayyar:
You got scouted at 18 and have worked as a model ever since then. You also are a graduate of biomedicals. Now you live between London and New York. Later you were featured by “Riccardo Tisci’ presenting his Burberry debut with that your career is propelled of a supermodel to the height where you have been at the top of the world of fashion and glamour modeling. Tell us more about this journey of hard work, tenacity, and endurance?
Claudia Lavender:
It was a crazy situation, of being scouted and then just propelled to one of the biggest shows overnight. It certainly felt like a dream at the beginning! But there’s also a lot of hard work in the modeling industry that is behind the scenes so to speak. A lot of long hours and standing in heels but I don’t regret any of it. I’ve definitely loved every moment which has helped!!
Namita Nayyar:
Riccardo Tisci presented his Burberry debut at London Fashion Week alongside Cara Delevingne. Tisci’s Burberry debut will be a landmark in the careers of many of the models that walked the show – Kendall Jenner, Freja Beha Erichsen, Fran Summers, Mariacarla Boscono, Jourdan Dunn – but for no one more than 20-year-old like you. Tell us more about this endeavor of yours and how it had been a catalyst to turn you into such an epitome of glamour, beauty, and elegance?
Claudia Lavender:
Thank you , it was a surreal moment in my life , I really felt like I had been plucked from obscurity, I definitely had imposter syndrome at first, feeling a little like I didn’t belong but I definitely grew to be more fond and love the job every day. I guess being surrounded by so many big names helped me , I definitely looked to them for guidance and inspiration.
Namita Nayyar:
You took the spotlight for the issue of “The Observer” where the photographer Lara Jade (Atelier Management) captures spring 2020 trends for a studio editorial. Styled by Jo Jones. Tell us more about this exceptional achievement of yours and how this has been a turning point in your modeling career to the pinnacle of being a supermodel?
Claudia Lavender:
That was a fun shoot! Was great shooting for the Guardian newspaper and the images are some of my favourites. I think it was definitely a big stepping stone in my career shooting with such a well-known photographer.

Namita Nayyar:
You are a world-leading media personality, Instagram star, supermodel, and brand ambassador. How do you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
Claudia Lavender:
I travel a lot but I try to make time to just chill, go to the gym, and walk my rescue dog Moose. You have to take some time out and just do normal things to keep you sane!
Namita Nayyar:
What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?
Claudia Lavender:
I love reformer Pilates, it’s definitely my favourite class just because it’s super challenging. I also tried Ariel Pilates recently which was a lot of fun. I used to be an athlete so I’ve kept a good workout regimen my whole life and I love to push myself whenever I train.
Namita Nayyar:
Do you take a special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Claudia Lavender:
I follow the 80/20 rule so I eat healthy 80% of the time and limit my sugar intake. Otherwise I’m pretty chill with my diet.
Namita Nayyar:
You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your hair care and skincare routine.
Claudia Lavender:
For hair I’m obsessed with Olaplex and the K18 treatment.
For skin I love the Ordinary, it’s affordable yet so good. I also love the kheils face oils. I use retinol every day to keep up the youthful skin appearance!
Namita Nayyar:
You have been part of London Fashion Week and many other fashion shows. Tell us a memorable experience of being part of these spectacular fashion events?
Claudia Lavender:
Definitely closing Burberry was a highlight of my show career. Was such a big production and also my first show. The atmosphere backstage was electric; I just wanted to do it all over again!!
Namita Nayyar:
Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding fashion model girls, who all are your fans and shall like to know from you for their climb to the ladder of success in the field of modeling?
Claudia Lavender:
I think you have to realize it can take time to really find yourself and be confident and comfortable in your body, I definitely felt like an awkward gawky girl at first so just take time and embrace yourself and your flaws don’t hide from them!
Namita Nayyar:
You have done bold photo shoots with many magazines and on your Instagram handle. How you are so body confident and advice to your compatriots?
Claudia Lavender:
I think just be yourself, and relax in front of the camera. You can’t overthink it or the tension will show on camera.
Namita Nayyar:
How do you train your abs? One secret to your toned body.
Claudia Lavender:
Pilates and abs workouts at the gym! I like to keep it varied so I don’t get bored. I used to be an athlete so I’m used to having a variety in my workouts.
Namita Nayyar:
Five foods you absolutely love and five you keep it to a minimum.
Claudia Lavender:
I love meat, fish, eggs and dairy. I avoid sugar and anything that contains seed oils or is over processed.
Namita Nayyar:
Skincare myth.
Claudia Lavender:
Probably anything that involves putting olive oil on your skin to make you look younger.
Namita Nayyar:
Five athletic leisure brands you love to wear.
Claudia Lavender:
I love Nike, Gymshark , Puma , under armour and HIIT

Claudia Lavender:
It’s hard to just pick 5 !
- Red Sea for diving

- Mexico to see Chichiniza (there’s a bit of a pyramid theme…)

Probably a picnic in the park with food and wine and my dog.

Claudia Lavender:
I think don’t take social media too seriously, it’s your page just have fun with it. And if someone is upsetting your peace, just block them!
