On “You & A” Clare dishes with a Who’s Who’ of hot artists as fans play along at home, serving up their own questions via Twitter.

And while going toe-to-toe with major musicians might be intimidating to some, Clare, a former elite competitive dancer, has the kind of easy charm of someone who has been performing since she could walk. One of five daughters, Clare began dancing at age two. She went on to win multiple awards in competitions across the country, and then teach dance, until she decided that she wanted to take her hosting career to the next level. Clare got her start hosting Empire City’s “Lucky Break” Season 1 and Season 2 on WLNY and serving as a Fashion Correspondent for Style TV before winning her hosting spot at Music Choice as the host of “You & A.” Clare also covers the biggest nights in music for Music Choice, serving as a red carpet correspondent at awards shows including the Billboard Music Awards, ACMAs and others.

“You & A” is an action-packed 30 minute pop music talk show featuring live performances from chart-topping artists. And while Clare may be a fresh face on TV, she has entertainment in her blood hailing from what could certainly be called a sports and entertainment dynasty. Her great grandfather Art Rooney, founded the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1940s, and the Steelers are still owned and operated by Rooney Family. Meanwhile, her uncle Chris Mara, is the Senior Vice President of Player Personal for the New York Giants, and Mara’s family owns and operates NY Giants. Ms. Namita Nayyar: You started dancing at the age of two years and went on to win multiple awards in competitions across the country. You got your start on hosting Empire City’s “Lucky Break” Season 1 and Season 2 on WLNY and serving as a Fashion Correspondent for Style TV then your professional career propelled to the height when you won the hosting spot at Music Choice as the host of “You & A.” Tell us something about this fairy tale journey?

Ms. Clare Galterio: Music has always been a big part of my life. I was a dancer for many years and when I realized that I wanted to host, I had to put it aside. When I got the opportunity to host “Lucky Break,” a singing competition, it was such a perfect fit. When season 2 of Lucky Break wrapped I had my Music Choice audition. I wanted the job so badly! I was chosen along with three other hosts to film a test show. Then it was up to the public to vote and I was the one chosen…It still is crazy to me!

Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have selected a profession of hosting music show and of fashion correspondent that requires a lot of hard labor, technical soundness and excellence in different faculties to finally succeed, how do you achieve that?

Ms. Clare Galterio: I never stop practicing. Even though I am currently hosting my own show, I still work with a hosting coach and am always doing side projects to keep my mind sharp.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you shall like to share?

Ms. Clare Galterio: I “Jump.” People make fun of me for it but jumping is the only exercise I do that I can keep up. (Jumping as in on a small trampoline for 45 minutes, 3 to 4 times a week.) What I call ‘Jumping’ is also referred to as Urban Rebounding… I took a few classes and then started doing it on my own. I also like to spin and box as well.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?

Ms. Clare Galterio: I have been gluten free for over a year. I do my best to eat healthy but I have the WORST sweet tooth in the world so I would be a complete liar if I acted like I don’t eat poorly every now and then. Especially because my family and I are obsessed with food. We will be eating lunch and be talking about what we are going to eat for dinner.

That is why I make sure I keep up with my work outs.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: Advice and motivational words for our inspiring and budding women television hosts and fashion correspondents who all are your fans, what should they do for their climb to the ladder of success in television and fashion industry?

Ms. Clare Galterio: Never give up. It’s very important to keep doing and practicing. I know that in my first question it seemed like an easy and seamless transition from show to show but I had been audition for years before I ever got my first hosting job. You just have to keep working at it! Also surround yourself with people that are supportive. There were times when I didn’t think I would ever get a TV show but my loved ones kept my head on straight.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Do you take some kind of skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hair to make it look so stunning?

Ms. Clare Galterio: I make sure I wash my face every morning and night. On my show I wear a lot of makeup because you have to when under such strong lights. I make sure I start and end my day with a clean face. Also, I try to drink as much water as I can. That always helps my skin.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have fought the gluten intolerance and have now been spreading the knowledge about the best places to get gluten free food. Tell us more about this endeavor of yours?

Ms. Clare Galterio: The Gluten Free Chick Web series is something I am really excited and proud of. It’s something I started because I wanted to bring awareness to Gluten Free restaurants, bakeries and places you would otherwise never really know about. I want to make eating fun again for people with Gluten issues. Because let me tell you, it’s not at all fun when you find out you can’t eat like everyone else.

My sister and mom were diagnosed with Celiac Disease two years ago so my whole family became very educated. When we were searching for things and places to go, we discovered thousands and thousands of blogs or videos of people talking about certain GF products. But I couldn’t find any videos that actually showed the people, the owners, the chefs, and that actually shared the stories behind the restaurants. Anyone that has a GF facility or a place that has many GF options has a story. And that’s why I wanted to film these places and bring that to life.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: You played the role of an ‘announcer’ in the film ‘Girl Most Likely’ directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini. Tell us about this acting experience of yours?

Ms. Clare Galterio: Oh gosh. That was so nerve-wracking. I had three lines and you would have thought I had pages and pages to memorize. I am totally fine being in front of the camera and being myself but when I had to act I was a total fish out of water. Shari and Robert were so kind. I got to work with Kristin Wiig. She is such an awesome person. One of the friendliest people I have ever met and worked with.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: You are the host at “You & A” Music Choice Play Network show. Tell us more about the show and a memorable experience with an artist on the show?

Ms. Clare Galterio: The show is a fun, light-hearted 30 minute music chat show. I have the best time. We have done everything from making chocolate covered strawberries with Sage the Gemini to having a dance off with Midnight Red to learning how to surf with Cody Simpson. The show is different every week and different guests keep the show fresh and entertaining. We have live musical performances that are so entertaining. Our season finale last year had American Authors. It’s so cool to interview someone and watch their career sky rocket. You feel like you were a part of their journey. That is something very cool to experience.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: You are a leading women TV Presenter and host, Fashion Correspondent, Fashion Expert, model, Youtube blogger, radio star and a dancer. How you are able to manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional, multi-faceted lifestyle?

Ms. Clare Galterio: When you’re passionate about what you do, it doesn’t seem like work. I love what I do. There aren’t many people that say that they actually enjoy what they do for a living. I am blessed to be able to say that. You will never hear me say, “Oh god its Monday. I have to go to work.” I’m usually excited it’s a Sunday because that means I get to wake up the next day and do what I love.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: What you wish to say about the website Womenfitness.net and message for its visitors?
