Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You have glowing skin and long, flowing hair – Share with us your skincare and hair care tips?
Ms. Catherine Tyldesley:
I’ve really made an effort in recent years to invest in high quality skincare and facials on a regular basis. I think as you get older, one day you look in the mirror and think ‘ok… concealer won’t cover this! I need to invest!’
I drink Skinade everyday which I swear by- it’s a collagen based vitamin drink. And I visit the highly acclaimed Dr Jonquille Chantry or Crystal Clear for facials. Products on my dressing table? Crystal Clear, Obaji, Dr Murad.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
With an audience of over 336k followers on your Instagram account @auntiecath17 you’re a social media sensation and an internet leading star. How does it feel that you are able to inspire and influence the healthy lifestyle of so many women across the globe? What’s your success “mantra”?
Ms. Catherine Tyldesley:
I think having a presence on social media is a big responsibility. There are young people following me, I hope that my posts motivate and inspire them. It’s part of the reason we set up @thePitfields. My husband and I are so passionate about health and fitness- we wanted to share our knowledge and experiences with other like minded people/families. It’s really taken off- I think people appreciate our honesty, we don’t profess to know everything- but we love sharing tips and recipes, and if we don’t know the answer to one of your questions- we work with several Doctors/ leading Nutritionists/ scientists/ Physio’s that will. We want to help as many people as we can.
Success mantra has always been :
Dream Big. Believe. Achieve. Work hard, and listen to your body/your gut instincts.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You have essayed the role of Eva Price on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street for seven years. Tell us more about your experience doing the show. And how do you feel about the huge response and appreciation that you received from it?
Ms. Catherine Tyldesley:
I will remain ever grateful to Phil Collinson (producer) and Gennie Radcliffe (casting director) for giving me ‘Eva Price’. I’d always dreamt of being in Corrie, ever since I was a little girl. I’ve honestly had the best seven years of my life. I’m not leaving because I’m unhappy. I’m actually the happiest I’ve ever been there. Kate Oates (current producer) has given me such wonderful storylines. This lady is a powerhouse in every sense – a real game changer for our show. She is a fantastic role model for women … and someone I hope to work with again in the future.
I’m utterly thrilled that viewers enjoy Eva, I’ve worked very hard over the years to develop her. It’s so lovely when audiences relate to your character. I get sent some lovely messages on social media – which means so much to me. Thank you everyone, for your continued support- I really am grateful everyday.
