Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Do you take some kind of skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hair to make them look so stunning? Any special treatment to protect your skin in cold conditions?
Ms. Brianne Mclaughlin:
Nothing too crazy with my skin and hair care 😉 I make sure to deep condition and hydrate that hair once a week because it can get pretty tangly out of the shower. I do protect it with Moroccan oil before straightening and curling so I don’t fry it! Lotioning is a must especially in the cold weather to prevent dry skin!
Brianne Mclaughlin on WomenFitness: I think it’s great to have websites like this for women to educate themselves on being healthy and living a fit lifestyle. Sometimes these things aren’t common knowledge so having a place for reference and links to articles is such a great resource for women. Take advantage

Advice and motivational words our inspiring and budding ice hockey girls who all are your fans shall like to know from you for their climb to ladder of success in ice hockey?
Ms. Brianne Mclaughlin:
My best performances on the ice was when I had a huge smile on my face and was enjoying my team mates. My advice is to always stay true to your goals because like I said previously, there is no better feeling than reaching goals and challenging yourself. Be yourself and be a good team mate most importantly. When I watch sports, the kid that stands out the most is the one that competes the hardest. I love coaching athletes who listen and get out of their comfort zone to try new things and grow!
The biggest thing is to always find ways to make it fun. Being on the national team is hard work but we keep going because we love it and it’s a blast every time we get to suit up together.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
How did you feel before and after your memorable winning of Gold in 2013 IIHF World Women’s Championships at Canada?
Ms. Brianne Mclaughlin:
Winning a gold medal for your country no matter what tournament is the coolest feeling ever. We went into that championship game feeling confident and really working together. We love playing Canada and they love playing us. We are both so competitive and so talented that the claws come out battling over who’s better every game. It doesn’t matter if it is a scrimmage or championship game, you will always see the best from both teams when we match up. That’s what makes our rivalry so great.
