Namita Nayyar:
Do you take a special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Barbara Fialho:
I really try to eat real food. The least processed food the best. I love rice, beans, salads, vegetables. I grew up eating that in Brazil so I am blessed to have always had good eating habits. The least sugar, salt and processed foods the best. That’s not even a secret! 🙂 It’s hard having that discipline when I’m traveling. So I compensate with working out and drinking extra water.
Namita Nayyar:
You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your haircare and skincare routine.
Barbara Fialho:
On my hair I use a Brazilian brand called “SPA DEIA E RENATA” It’s a fully organic line that I have been using since I was 16 years old. On my face I make a huge mix of different vitamins oils. I have dry skin, and with all the time on the airplane, and make up, I like using more oily products. I take away the excess with a warm wet towel. The steam room is also my best friend. Steaming has become a passion of mine! Since the baby, it’s like my little moment for myself.

Barbara Fialho:
Music has always been my passion and my dream to accomplish I’ve been searching for myself within the world of music and the arts. I would say bit more my words are deeper lately with some very real-life experiences I’ve encountered that have been challenging but rewarding. I come from very humble beginnings and in a fast pace my life reality changed through fashion. I lived in somewhat a parallel world for about 16 years working nonstop traveling from country to country not really growing roots anywhere.
Then I fell deeply in love, decided to go for it, and I can say I will do it all over again. My daughter and overcoming the reality of a working mom in the search of my own expression as an artist has taught me more in the past two years than ever. I wrote an album that I cannot wait to share with everyone as it will be my best one yet.

Namita Nayyar:
Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding fashion model girls, who. A your fans and shall like to know from you for their climb to the ladder of success in the field of modeling?
Barbara Fialho:
I feel the more interest you take in learning the designer/brand from the team to the photographer to stylist, to hair and makeup the more connected you are with your team – the creative in the process you become. All the glamour is wonderful, but if you must learn how to manage your emotions on a set and show up as professional and make sure your client is happy in the end of the day, it will be challenging to maintain a long career, but the process is always worth it.
