Namita Nayyar:
How do you train your abs? Tell us your circuit.
Ashley Young:
Unfortunately, abs are made in the kitchen. If you’re looking at getting lean enough to see your abs, then you have to eat in a deficit and very clean foods.
To strengthen and define my abs and core, I do full body movements like deep squats and dead lifts as well as crossfit movements like warriors and toes to bar.
Namita Nayyar:
Tell us about your preparations for the future projects.
Ashley Young:
I am always training my body to see what it can do next. As I said, I really want to see where I can push it next in another body building competition. For this reason, I am currently trying to put on as much muscle as I can. I am also starting to pursue more stunt work, so will be taking a lot of courses over the summer that are geared towards acting and stunt work.

Ashley Young:
I love how Womenfitness.net is such an amazing collection of real women and athletes sharing their knowledge from real life experiences. Seeing everything that other women have accomplished in different fields and what they are pushing to do is simply amazing. It’s giving us a platform to share our stories and connect with one another, and I think that is brilliant.
