Namita Nayyar:
You are the former Miss Universe Albania and ELITE model turned author to your newest book, Love, Light, Hope. How would you describe your journey in the world of entertainment?
ANGELA MARTINI:
I am doing few things now, it is true. It was a fun period becoming Miss Universe Albania, then working as a model, as I had the chance meeting a lot of great people around the world. Becoming a life coach was my first step towards learning more about human Psychology and reaching my goal of helping people. As a movie producer I realized that I would have the chance to express some of my deep ideas and thoughts through the movies I produce. Being an author is probably my greatest achievement so far and I am happy and proud to have the chance to talk about my life and share my amazing mother’s life story. Passing through all of these activities, the journey has just been so crazy, sexy, cool. 🙂

Namita Nayyar:
From pageant queen and model, to author and film producer, you have gracefully overcome many obstacles to become the multi-faceted business woman that you are today. Would you like to tell us about your struggles as a young girl in this field?
ANGELA MARTINI:
Life constantly surprises me. What I thought was a struggle yesterday, became a blessing today. This is because unfortunately your character grows only by getting through difficult situations. As you can see in my book, I’ve been struggling with tough situations since I was just a little girl. This defined my character and helped me to become the woman I am today.
Namita Nayyar:
Being a model one needs to stay fit and possess a healthy physique. What does your workout routine look like? Weight loss tip & supplements you follow?
ANGELA MARTINI:
Yes, it’s true. I confess that I hate working out but I am still doing it because it is a must! I am lazy when it comes to working out so I need a trainer to keep screaming at me. 🙂 I take protein shakes and a lot of vitamins.
Namita Nayyar:
Food that constitutes an essential part of your diet? 5 Food that constitute your diet? 2 taboos too.
ANGELA MARTINI:
Ok guys, I guess I am the worst person to be asked this question because the truth is I never eat totally healthy! But I have an interesting story to share with you about diet.
When I was in the Miss Universe competition, I started to diet for the first time in my life, watching all the competitor girls around me doing that! The result was that I became so obsessed and stressed out about keeping to the diet that I started to gain weight for the first time in my life! I could not get rid of this problem and had to deal with extra kilos for almost a year! I tried all the diets, nothing worked! The more dieting I did, eating only salads, soups and vegetables – the worst it got! Eventually, a smart nutritionist told me that the reason I could not get rid of the weight was not because of my diet, but everything is mental and – more specifically – it was the way I looked at food as being my enemy! I got rid of this problem right away and I accepted myself. Instead, I began consuming absolutely anything I felt like, with moderation. After this experience, I strongly believe that the body will not tell the brain what to do, but the brain will give the correct orders to the body!
Namita Nayyar:
What has been the biggest highlight of your career thus far?
ANGELA MARTINI:
My greatest achievement so far is definitely my book. What I can say for sure though, is that very soon I am planning on telling you about new achievements!
Namita Nayyar:
Being such a big business tycoon, how do you juggle your businesses and personal life?
ANGELA MARTINI:
In this current period, because of a lot of work and upcoming projects combined with a lot of things going on in my personal life, I am just struggling between those two. I keep going because I can only move forward. I don’t mind juggling for the moment. 🙂
Namita Nayyar:
What lessons have you learnt in running your own business?
ANGELA MARTINI:
The first important thing I’ve learned is to never except NO as an answer! The second lesson I’ve learned is that everyone you work with is flexible! And I love that! The third thing – always try to work with the best!

Namita Nayyar:
What is your skincare and hair care routine like:
- after a hard workout?
- before going to bed?
ANGELA MARTINI:
After working out, I just jump into shower and wash my hair with Pantene shampoo and conditioner. I apply L’Occitane almond oil all over my body while still moist. I don’t have a specific serum or specific face cream, as I change it all the time. My favorite face toner is from Biologique Recherche P50. I never leave the house without perfume.
Before going to bed, I remove my make up with Bioderma H2O solution then wash my face with hand-made soap and lastly, I put real aloe vera gel on my face. About aloe vera, I always buy the plant to have it at home.
Namita Nayyar:
What does being a woman means to you in 2019?
ANGELA MARTINI:
Today, we’re living in a WOMEN’s world. That means more attention, power, kindness and respect for all women. It is finally our time and we suffered a lot in the past based on ignorance.
