Spinach and Semolina Puffs

Instructions :

  • Boit the water and add the rawa and sat, stirring continuously for four minutes, until the mixture is thick enough to support a spoon upright.

  • Add the spinach, mix well and remove from heat. Allow to cool. 

  • Add the egg, the chilli-ginger paste and the black pepper and mix well. Make thick small puris from this dough and deep fry in hot oil (or bake in a medium-hot oven) till crisp.

To prepare the topping:

  • Heat the butter in a wok; add the chopped green chilli, ginger and garlic and saute briefly. 

  • Add the mushrooms and carrot and cook for two minutes. Add the boiled green peas, seasoning and chopped parley, stir well and remove from heat.

Ingredients :

  • Water 1-3/4 cup

  • Semolina (rawa) Lentil croquettes 1 cup

  • Salt to taste 

  • finely chopped spinach 1 cup

  • Egg 1, beaten 

  • Green chilli-ginger paste1/2 tsp

  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp

For the topping:

  • Butter 2 tbsp, chopped green chilli 1 tbsp, ginger and garlic, chopped mushrooms q carrot mixed 1 cup, finely chopped green peas 1/2 cup, boiled salt and black pepper powder to taste parsley 2 tbsp, chopped

For the garnish:

  • Tomato sauce 1 cup, grated Parmesan cheese 1 cup , parsley 1/2 cup, chopped
