Instructions :

  • To prepare the dip: 

    • Heat the butter in a pan and saut� all the ingredients lightly for a few minutes.

    • Remove from heat and serve warm.

    To prepare the groundnut rice cakes:

    • Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Shape into 1.5 cm flat tikkis, and shallow fry with a little oil till crisp on both sides. (You can also deep fry them if you wish). Serve with the tomato dip.

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup cooked rice 

  • 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs 

  • 1 tsp crushed garlic 

  • 1 tsp lemon juice 

  • 1/2 cup crushed, roasted groundnuts 

  • 1 tsp soya sauce 

  • salt to taste 

  • 1 tsp chilli sauce 

  • 1 tsp finely chopped ginger 

  • a pinch of turmeric powder 

  • 1 tsp sugar 

  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves, chopped 

  • oil for frying 

For the tomato dip: 

  • 1tsp butter, 3 tomatoes, finely chopped salt to taste 1 tsp chilli sauce 1 tsp soya sauce 1 cup coriander leaves, chopped
