It is high time that Sexual Health services are promoted and advertised, so that the taboo surrounding Sexual Health is shelved once and for all. Girls & Women should be made to feel at ease to discuss sexual health related issues and take responsibility in taking the necessary precautions to decrease personal risk.
Remember, Poor sexual health can have a negative impact on an individuals physical and mental health.

The menstrual cycle is not the same for every woman. A normal menstrual period
lasts from 2 to 7 days. The normal cycle patterns can range from 21 to 35 days.
When bleeding occurs that is not part of the regular cycle; periods are longer
or heavier than normal; occurs between periods; time between periods is longer
than normal; or there is an absence of periods, this is called abnormal or
irregular uterine bleeding. |

If your period is heavy enough to require
changing more often than every one or two hours, or if you have a period
that lasts more than a full week, you may be experiencing menorrhagia or
heavy menstrual bleeding. Hormonal imbalance is one of the primary reason of
heavy menstrual bleeding, with Uterine fibroid tumors ranking second.
Intrauterine devices used for contraception are also a potential cause of
heavy menstrual bleeding or menorrhagia. |

in good working order. It cannot be ignored that there are certain nutrients
which have the power to regulate the levels of sex hormones in your body,

Dropping levels of hormones, parenting insecurities and feelings of
unattractiveness can dry up desire post child birth. You probably just dont
feel like yourself down there. On average, couples resume sexual relations by
seven weeks and 90% are back to some sort of love making routine by six months.
