Lipstick Looks For Autumn-Winter

The glitz! The glamour! The dresses! And… the lips. When it’s autumn season, choosing desired lipstick color and brand can be quite confusing. There are always new cool shades being introduced in the market. Women prefer something that will make them stand out in the crowd.

  1. Burnt Red Lips. To get a red effect, try mixing COVERGIRL LipPerfection LipColor in Hot ($5.79, ulta.com) and COVERGIRL Queen Collection LipPerfection LipColor in See Red (9.74, ulta.com) together. This new rich bright red goes on creamy but dries matte, Bobbi Brown Bobbi Brown Lip Color – Burnt Red, .12 oz ($21.00)
  2. Fire-engine Red Lips: Clé de Peau Beauté Extra Rich Lipstick in R2 ($29.99) is a great bright true red color. Wears all day and doesn’t cake too much! Very flattering if you like those nice bright reds.
  3. Lady Danger by MAC: described as a “vivid bright coral-red [with a matte finish].” It’s a bold, brightened orange-red with warm undertones and a matte finish. It leans more red than orange, but it’s not full-on red.  It has a vanilla scent but no discernible flavor. The color coverage is rich and intense, so there was no issue with getting full color coverage out of it! MAC Matte Lipstick – Lady Danger by M.A.C can be bought from Amazon for $16.49.
  4. Hot Sauce by Marc, Make it Rich:  The intense color is silky and does’nt migrate outside the lip lines or onto the teeth — one less thing to worry about during a night on the town. It is a lip color crayon and will need a chubby pencil sharpener.
  5. Red Haute by Lancôme:  If your lips long for full, fade-free color in tempting textures, and a shade selection that would inspire any makeup artist; the search is over. This luxurious lipstick is infused with soothing ingredients, so lips feel soft and comforted all day. Choose from five fabulous finishes: cream, sheen, shimmer, metallic and matte. Available on  Lancome.com for $22.50.
  6. Russian Red by MAC: The deep red color has semi-matte and velvety finish. It glides smoothly on the lips. It has a non-drying formula and non-caking too. This lipstick contains SPF8 and Vitamin A.

Tips to Remove Lipstick

  • Apply a thick layer of Vaseline over your lip color. Wait.
  • Press it down on your lips with a cotton round and let it kind of absorb. Then, slide it off your lips.
  • If your lip color is super dark, you may have to repeat this process one more time.
  • If you see a tint of lipstick or maybe some dry, colored flakes. Then wet an old toothbrush and gently brush in circular motions on your lips. This will remove the leftover color and exfoliate at the same time.
