A recent research has hinted at a intriguing function of calcium in the body. Although it has long been known that all cells require calcium to function and that calcium also regulates the transport of other nutrients in and out of cells, there is growing evidence that calcium plays an important role in the regulation of energy metabolism and body composition and, in certain circumstances, may help reduce body fat and prevent weight gain. This week we focus on, Calcium needed to assist weightloss.

Did you know the common cold is caused by any one of 200 different viruses? To help prevent infection, you should avoid direct contact with others if you have a cold or with someone you know who has a cold. As always, wash your hands frequently, rubbing your soapy hands vigorously together for at least 10 seconds and rinsing with warm water. A humidifier can be used to treat dry mucous membranes, which may be more susceptible to infection.

Law of Success

The first law of success is concentration. Bend all your energies to one point, and go directly to that point, looking neither to the left nor the right.

By focusing your efforts to a single point, you'll always achieve the greatest results. If you concentrate your efforts on a few major goals, your efficiency will soar, your projects will be completed, and you'll be going somewhere.

Focus totally on the business at hand and command yourself to do exactly what you want to do.

Calcium needed to assist Weight Loss

New research shows that calcium -- three or four daily servings of low-fat dairy products -- can help adjust your body's fat-burning machinery.

Affect of Calcium on body weight and fat?
While it’s true that 99% of the 1.2kg of calcium in the average human body goes to make up bone tissue, the remaining 1% is vitally important. Calcium is needed to switch muscles on and off – without it no muscular contraction would be possible – and is also vital to the release of neurotransmitter chemicals, such as serotonin, acetylcholine and norepinephrine. Calcium is also an important co-factor for blood clotting and activates numerous enzyme systems in the body.

A recent research has hinted at a more intriguing function of calcium in the body.
