Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You must had a background of interest in sports and bodybuilding earlier in your life and was encouraged & motivated to compete in fitness competitions. You reached the pinnacle of success by winning many professional figure competitions including 2010 NPC Eastern USA Fitness & Bikini. Tell us about your journey that took you to the the world of fitness and as a winner in Professional Figure competitions?

Ms. Diana Becker:
Well, I am a IFBB professional Bikini competitor. I could cross to figure I suppose but I definitely don't have the physique for that at the moment. You're right, I did grow up athletic. I always excelled in sports and am very determined when I have a goal in mind. At the end of high school I was doing competitive cheerleading and knew I had a strong interest in nutrition and exercise physiology. I worked as a trainer and of course that world and the world of competing are very close. I tried my hand at fitness originally. I loved it, but I had a 13 month old son and the prep time for something like that is enormous and just not something I could do. Bikini came out in 2009 and it was an exact fit for me at the moment.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:
How your experience and background of many years in Professional Figure competitions, also having educational qualification of certified personal trainer through the ISSA has helped you in carving your present profession of being a fitness model and professional figure competitor?

Ms. Diana Becker:
Well it has opened many doors for me for sure and given me an audience through social media. I get to work with women from across the world because of my success in the IFBB, and for that I am really grateful!

Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Share your exercise routine that you do to maintain such a bikini perfect physique?

Ms. Diana Becker:
LOL! It is ever changing to be completely honest.

I train glutes 2-3 times a week. Shoulders 2 times a week. Chest, back and arms are all once per week and abs are sprinkled in there too.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:
What is your diet? Do you take a particular fixed regulated diet comprising of nutrients and vitamins to keep you in perfect health?

Ms. Diana Becker:
I use IIFYM for my dieting style. At the moment I'm using ground turkey and bell peppers and making stuffed peppers in bulk. I then pair it with rice or yam depending on the macro allowance I have that day. Breakfast is usually oats and I can usually find room for a snack a some point.

The vitamin regime I use is pretty simple. Basics for supporting immune system health. Basics for supporting hair skin and nails. Then Gaspari Nutrition carnipure carnitine, myofusion or isofusion protein powder when needed, glutamine and BCAA's.
